Does it hurt when one donates blood?

they will.. or should be checking oyur iron. that hurts the msot out of everything.. and.. its.. like.. nothing. but its a tiny little prick. the needle doesnt hurt... make sure your not flexing though when they position the needle.

Only if you make it hurt. It's only mental. Going into nursing school I figured it would help to be able to watch myself getting shot so I could do it to other people. The more I watch, the more I realize "this actually doesn't hurt!"

Have you ever gotten a blood draw? Where the nurse takes your blood for testing? Doesn't usually hurt.
For me thinking about it is worse than the event.

Donating blood is no worse. Doesn't hurt, just
a little needle stick. :)
