this might sound really stupid but how do you know when your in love? i really really really like my boyfriend but i wouldn't wanna say i love you if i didnt mean it...thing is, we've only been dating for like 3 weeks, for anyone in a relationship how long did it take before you said 'i love you' please dont tell me "you'll know when your in love" cause that doesnt really help...tell me anything about your relationships...thankss.
In the past I have had 2 serious relationships.
1. Alec- We dated for about a year and 2 months. I didn't really fall in love with Alec for a while. Maybe about 8 months in. It was awhile, but he loved me long before. I said I did but I know I didn't. Our relationship was nice, he loved everything about me and I admired him, but I knew that it wasn't a strong kind of love, it was the kind you feel about someone you have known for a long time and that you know you love them, but you can't really feel it.
2. Talon- I have been dating him for a little over 3 years now. We had been childhood friends, ever since I was born, but after my parents died and I was adopted, I hadn't seen him. I was 14 when he had moved into the town I had lived in ( we didn't know). I was dating Alec at the time and Talon was the reason that relationship ended. Later after I was 15 1/2 ish, Talon and I had met up again for months as close again....It might have been a month before I knew I loved him or earlier...You know when you love someone. I love Talon so deeply it felt like something was pulling me from the inside. I would just get a feeling of completeness and an indescribable feeling, because there wasn't really a word to describe it. I have been with him ever since.
Each relationship is different. There are different ways to love and I don't think that there is really a "too early" to be in love, but that depends on how well you know the guy. If you have just known him for 3 weeks, then yeah maybe...
You will feel it and don't worry about saying it because when you are in love you won't have to think when you say it, it will just be like breathing...natural, not well thought out.

Okay about 6 months ago this guy really liked me and wanted to be with me... I didn't feel the same. Since then we've become bestfriends. Like he knows everything about me. Now I think I have feelings for him. But he keeps telling me about how he might get back with his ex.. I don't think he sees me as more than a best friend now but i dont really know. And i also don't want to mess up everything with him and his ex that likes him again.
What do i doooooo?
It's hard when you start crushing on your best friend...I know I have been there.
But you have to think...how would you feel if you never found out and he got together with his ex? There would always be that what if? question nagging at you.
You say he is your best friend, just tell him. Tell him how you really feel and how you think you might like him, you never know he might like you back the same.
My best friend liked me back but we were both to afraid of ruining it we missed out. We finally told eachother the day before he moved.
It seems hard, but if you really have a solid friendship, even if he doesn't like you, you can work to still be friends. It might be a little weird at first, but it will pass.
And it might make him rethink his feelings about you, so many people find out someone they know likes them and they start also to develop feelings as they really think about the other person.
My advice: Give it a try.

I've seen a bunch of other writers ask questions on here so I figured I'd give it a shot. I need a muse. I would said I'm a pretty observant and open-minded, but when it comes to the characters in my story I can't find anyone to base it on because technically my characters don't exist. I can't base them off myself because I'm just not that complex of a person. And finding someone who I like to base my characters looks off of doesn't fit the attitude. Who can I talk to about this? How do I find my characters? And why do people have to be different? it's aggrivating! (that last one was sarcasm)... anyway does anyone know a way to help me find the character's for my story? Besides walking up to total strangers and asking if they'll be my muse because I think I'll just scare people that way.

Well, when I write for me, I think about qualities as a base. How will this move my story along...
Usually I base characters off of people I know, my friends and family members, but I only take a little bit. For instance:
My best friend, Angelina, is really talkative, you can call her a bit preppy, so I take that quality into my character. Then I would find another trait from soemone I know and add that to the character to make it more dynamic.
I tend to pick up on people more and that is why it is easier. Just take the time be observant, even a person walking down the street can be your inspriation. Just wondering where they are going or the look on their face can spark something.
Plus, I also use myself, sometimes I wish that I could be like someone or have a certain trait so I think about that and combine them all into one person, and then you have a character.
You don't have to talk to anyone, the inspiration is all around you, you just have to look. But, if you want to talk to someone about your story or help, my ears and ideas are always open!

I am going to a summer band camp by myself. What can I do to make new friends and not act antisocial?
First thing, Don't worry about it!! If I have learned anything is that when you stress over a situation like this, the outcome is the one you don't like...
Just be yourself. Don't be afraid if the others don't like you because (no offense) some of them won't and that happens to ALL of us. If you are confident with who you are then many people tend to notice and be more likely to talk with you.
You're going to a band camp, so everyone has something in common, just be yourself and hang out with some people who share the same instrument you play because then you have even more to talk about.
And lastly to not act antisocial, don't wait for someone to come up to you or be afraid to participate in any activities. The first few days are going to be a little weird and uneventful, but don't get discouraged, since this is because many people are feeling what you are, it takes time to get comfortable.
Just relax and have fun! Good Luck.

some people on myspace i don't know very well. what are some things to say when adding them? and what are good conversation starters?
thanks in advance :)
Well, if they are people that you know, otherwise I don't recomend adding people you have no clue who they are to your myspace.
But, if you have talked to them before or met them at least, a simple:
"Hey, How are you?" or
"What are you up to?"
Or something of the sort is usually a good conversation starter. After that usually a topic comes up and then boom, you have a convesation.

Okay so I have 10 days till my big family's big 14 1/2 hour drive to florida. THE only problem is that I don't know what to do about my period? We are leaving the 12th. And my period is supposed to start the 6th. But I don't know what to do? Is there anyway to make it come sooner? I know this sounds crazy but still.... help. PLUS.... IF
My period does happen to fall during the 12th what should i do?
Well, there is no way to make your period come sooner...
Just relax, if your period does come on the 6th then by the 12th comes along you should be near the end and have very light bleeding.
If it does happen around the 12th, just relax and prepare. Bring a lot of tampons or pads, or even both. During the ride, just make sure to mak frequent restroom stops to change your pad or tampon, I am sure your family will understand, and if you are uncomfortable telling them about it, just go to the bathroom. Also, just in case bring some extra underwear or shorts, just in case of a leak.
Car trips can be hell, when you are on your period.
In Florida, you can swim with tampons in, maybe not the smartest thing to do...but take that opportunity to tan a bit, lay out in the sun. You can go swimming with a tampon in, just change it. (Pack a little purse of bag with extra pads/tampons).
Periods come at the worst time, you just have to make the most of if.

I am 15/f. I deffinitaly(sp?) know that I want to wait until marriage to have sex. But I have a couple of questions. First question: So you know how like, all girls bleed their first time? Well just say you had just gotten married and go to a hotel room? You just bleed on their sheets or what? What do you do about that? Second question: Well, I've heard a lot of girls say that it hurts the first time you do it. Well, it's not very romatic if you had just got married and you can't "do it" because it hurts, so then what do you do? I've just been wondring this because it just seems like it would be akward when it happens. Sorry if these are weird questions. Thank you bunches!
Trust me these are not weird questions they just seem weird because most people keep them to themselves. ( Not that you did anything wrong or asking them is wrong).
Well First- Not all girls bleed the first time, I know I didn't bleed. I am not sure if it was because I broke my hymen early on or if it was just because my body was different. Some girls tear their hymen through over-stretching or sports.
Anyways, I know it seems weird to just bleed on the sheets and then just leave it, but you have to let it go. It isn't going to be much, maybe a few drops, but usually nothing more. If you do get it on the sheets, it will come out, but don't scrub it yourself. Hotels know that this sort of thing could happen and that it does happen. They will wash the sheets like usual and if it doesn't come out, they put on new ones.
Second- The first time is always a bit painful, but not to the point where you can't continue. Your body and vaginal walls have to adjust to the size of your partner and the natural tearing of the hymen. It will hurt for a few minutes, but it will be a dull pain, one that will fade as your body responds and recognizes the pleasure.
All girls worry about these things and once you have done it, you will laugh at yourself for worrying! Just relax!

what are some things that can delay your period besides pregnancy? i'm always 2-3 days earlier than i was the month before and i'm never late, but i am now.
Don't worry, it is natural for your period to come late or early.
A lot can cn cause this:
1) Stress-This is probably the main cause in irregular, early, or late periods. Just relax because you stressing over this will only make it worse.
2) New Diet- If you are changing your diet in an extreme way like cutting calories or carbs, or eliminating certain food groups, this can cause a change in your period.
3) Sex- Not saying that your pregnant, but usually when you start becoming sexually active or if you are just begining to have sex more frequently, your period can fluxuate, but that is typical. It is your body adjusting.
4) Just Because- A period is never predictable. Sure you might have your period come around the same time for years, but that doesn't mean it won't change. I used to get my period every month, now only once every two months. Your body is constantly changing, so at times your period will skip or become a bit irregular.
Don't worry you will get back on track. And a little tid-bit. If you had your age or whether or not your sexually active, or even your weight, all of this could help us more on advice.
