It`s good that your a good friend and there for them. Also that you know for sure you want to wait and not do it to "be in" with everyone else. The most you can do is try to talk to your friends, warn them, and be there for them. Sometimes people choose to not listen to other people and learn the hard way then after realizing you were right.
