I doubt it's herpes. Herpes itches, and burns when you pee. Its probably a pimple. Did you try to pop it? Do you shave? That could possibly be what it's from. You should ask your mom. Mothers always know best.

im 14 and going into the 10th grade and ive never kissed a guy. and all my friends all have lost it. and i feel like im being left behind. and when my friends talk bout it they ask me hats the most uve done w/ a guy and i cant say anything cuz i havent even kissed 1! what should i do? (link)

First of all, you should be proud to not have had sex. Because, if your only 14, and all of your friends are having sex.. That's horrible... Your soo young, sex is supposed to be something that you share with a special person, not just some random boyfriend who you feel as though you need to have sex. You know? And the whole thing about your friends asking you how far you have ever been with a guy, tell them the truth. They'll be like "WHAT? ARE YOU SERIOUS?" You know? But, your not a slut... So you should be proud of that. I didn't have my first kiss until I was like 14... or maybe even 13. I am not sure. But, just take it easy. Don't worry about what other people think of you, sex, and kissing are not every thing. If any thing you should be shoving it in their faces that your still a virgin and they aren't because that is the most special thing in a girls life...

YES it is 100% neccessary for a woman to go to a gynocologist... What they do to you is not really that big of a deal. I don't see why every one makes it out to be one. The only thing that it is, is very uncomfortable. That's all. They put a clamp inside of you, and they crank it open so that they can see your cervix.. then they scrape the inside of you with a q-tip, and a lil' wooden thing. It is not that horrible. It is just VERY uncomfortable. That is all... You have nothing to worry about. I sugguest that you go if your having sex...

ok i was hanging out with my friends when i felt something weird on the inner part of my lip. like a pimplish kind of thing? my one friend insisted it was herpes and said at one point everyone gets herpes. im like what? is this true? i thought herpes was like a perminant thing. (link)

Um first of all, lol it probably isn't herpes. Have you been having unprotected sex? If not you have nothing to worry about. It is probably just a pimple. It is possible to get pimples in your private areas. Especially if you shave.. So you really don't have any thing to worry about. And your friend, the one that told you that some point every1 gets herpes, that's completely wrong.. Because there are a lot of people in this world w/o herpes... And herpes is a permanent thing.. Maybe your friend should reread on what herpes is before she or he puts that shit into your head.

You should go to a gynocologist when you start getting your period really. But also, when you lose your virginity you should go as well.

Ok, well first of all.. All boys go through puberty at different times.. No one boy is going to go through puberty at the same time as another. You can start going through puberty at the age of 11, or 12.. A boys voice usually deepens, and you start growing more hair and every thing else... Under your arm pits, and every where else imaginable... There is no certain time "when" boys go through puberty. It just happens.. Give it time.

My life really sucks. The guy i like has this really popular and pretty girlfriend. All the people at school make fun of me. I do not have alot of friends. My family doesn't seem like they care for me too much. I even sometimes think of suicide.
At school all of the people make fun of me. I am no dork but people make fun of me the way i dress and just plain make fun of me. On my school lacrosse team people always make fun of me. Not to brag but i am probably the best person on the team and yet there are still people making fun of me of the things i do. On my soccer team some of the girls make fun of me too. I do not have alot of friends either. My dad always bothers me to have someone come over and he asks me the number of people i called and its only about 3 because i really don't have alot of friends to call. My family is always yelling at me to. I try to be nice but then my sister makes some smart remark and then my parents expect me to be nice to her. And they think she is like the perfect angel child that does everything right. My sister even sometimes makes fun of me by saying i have no friends. Suicide is also something i think about and life is something i want to take away because it really sucks. Please add some advice to this column. It would really help. Well, I know that life sucks. There is a lot of things in life that aren't great. School for you is probably soon almost over. To me, this is how I look at it. What ever some one has to say to you, let them talk their shit. They can say what ever they want, but inside you know that you are a good person.. And what ever they are making fun of you for, obviously they are insecure about them selves. People are just plain rude these days, and have no respect. This is what pisses me off most, when people get made fun of. This often leads to teen suicide.. That's something that I hate as well. I don't think you should kill your self over that. Even though you say you have not many friends, you atleast have one. And your parents probably do care about you. Don't look at every thing so negativly. You know, there will be a brighter day. And some day, there are going to be lots of people envying you, because those people that make fun of you now... May get no where in life... Just look at it this way, one day you will have things that they wont have. And also, I used to get made fun of when I was younger too. Every one made fun of me and every thing, called me a nerd, and fat and, made fun of my clothes too. Then I went to a different high school then my home school. I went to a technical school. I made SO many friends, because they gave me chance. I wasn't the only new one. Now I am back to my home school again, because I got my self into some trouble. So now all the people that made fun of me before, all like to suck up to me and kiss my ass.. Because they know I have changed. My personality is different, and I don't take any ones shit. Stand up for your self, some times it feels like it isnt the right thing to do, but in the end it will pay off.

Ok, well first of all... How old are you? Lol. OK, I think that shaving "down there" is something that you do to make your self feel clean... You know. You can ask your mom, for her advice, but you know it is your body. When I first started shaving, I asked my mom and she told me to do what ever I wanted to do. So you know, it is your body. Shave it if you want to, and doctors don't have a problem with that. That is your choice you know. If your going through puberty and you don't want hair down there, then get rid of it. It's your choice completely. It's your body.

Here is my advice to you... Ok, You say that you have a perfect relationship with your boyfriend back at home, and now you met another guy. You really need to sit down and think which guy you like more, and honestly chose from there. I don't think that you should have sex with either of them if your are questioning your self. That is not a way to lose your virginity. That just leads to regrets. Sex is supposed to be special and to be with a person that you feel as though you have known all your life, and you are supposed to make that choice with that person, together whether you want to have sex with him or not. You say that you just met this guy a month ago, this new one or what ever.. Why should you rush into having sex, if you have a perfect relationship at home with your other boyfriend. I think that you should wait it out, and see what this leads to. Having sex is not the greatest thing. It leads to a lot of different factors. Pregnancy and diseases being the most important ones. So just use your head, and be careful of what choices you make!
