mah friend used to like this kid named billy, she liked him forever but he never liked her back. Now she has a boyfriend and I like billy. She doesnt know, and she still likes billy also. every year our school's 7th graders throw a formal dance for the 8th graders. i am totally against going because i hate dresses and can't dance. all of my friends that were totally against it are suddenly going and renting a limo and everything. they are even having a sleepover and a whole day to get ready for it. i don't want to go but they are pressuring me so much to go. what should i do??? the guy i really like will be there but i am 100% against stuff like this. should i give in? can you give me some tips on how to stay strong under pressure?? thanks...i'll rate high! ok.My really close guy friend recently died and im really bad at dealing with its been 2 months since he died but i still have those days were i miss him so much and get all depressed..and well i dont want to get this depression and i miss him ALOT but i dont want to feel this whole in a stomach like a part of me is missing...is there anyway i can get over it?how can i learn to cope with it?!

I usually answer questions but this is important! I have a friend *sorta* (We have been friends for 13 years and we tore appart due to her being popular). Well anyway she has a cousin Sarah. She has been coming to my friends house and when she goes up there she invites her boyfriend and they sit up there and make out. But my friends boyfriend comes to (Thats Sarahs boyfriends brother *sorry if confusing*). And I am afraid she is having sex with him. Her mom acts more like a best friend than a mom. Her mom and dad are split (they have been since she was born and her dad loves her to death!). So her mom is turning her against her dad and trying to make him feel guilty! *My sister and her dad are married* So Whats a girl to do!?!?! Okay, my friend (we'll call her mary) and I are about the same size, except i'm a bit leaner because i'm tall and stuff. But she ALWAYS wants to borrow my clothes. I didn't mind at first but now it's coming to every day -- she sees what i'm wearing and says "I'm borrowing that." Also, our other friend is like 2 sizes smaller than us but "mary" has even borrowed clothes from her. "Mary" has worn my petite friend's favorite hoodie more times than she has!
Its really starting to get on both of our nerves. During the summer I let her borrow one of my coolest skirts and she got a stain on it. Yeah, it's tiny. But I mean, come on. Also, she always says I can borrow any of her clothes whenever I want when she borrows mine. But the truth is, her fashion sense sucks. All she does is buy brand names and the clothes are usually the wrong size for her because shes in denial about being a size xlarge. So, she gives the clothes to our small friend who could practically wear them as nightshirts their so big on her. Anyway, so should I just keep kinda ignoring her requests to borrow my clothes or just let her borrow them once in awhile to keep her sated? Or just outright tell her that she stretches out my clothes? WHAT? (link)

Me and my friend Paul are practically brother and sister! We've always been tight but over the summer it seemed as if we were getting feelings for eachother that werent normal 'friendly' feelings. He invited me everywhere with him. We went to the beach to watch fireworks, i joined him for dinner, and almost every weekend we hung out at his house watching the stars and talking. i never feel uncomfortable around him and i can tell him anyhing. My bff Ashlyn, like this guy Tanner. Secretley I like him too but I haven't told her that yet. Well Tanner is been flirting with me ALOT latley and invited me to the movies. you should talk to your friend and be like i didnt want to tell you this because i didnt want to hurt you and i felt i needed to be honest with you. then tell her that you like him and he likes you. be really nice about it though and give her space to think about this. she might be a little mad about this the first couple of days but shell adjust to it after a little while. or you could point her to a different guy that she might like and then hook them two up. hope i helped! buh bye! if you need any more help im me at T3RRI2010!

I have a OLD friend but really concerned about her. She is just 12 and she went to her B/Fs today. She won't stay at her dads (parents r split up) and she always stays at her moms. I guess she wants people to think she iss cool I don't know. She acts like a prep and she NEVER calls her dad or anything and you know it hurts his feelings and she hasn't been to her dads in 2 weeks and when she did go she stayed in her room. Her dad and my sister (who is married to him LOL) have been VERY good to her. I mean my dad doesn't even care about me and she doesn't know how luccky she is. What can I do. well you should tell your friend how lucky she is to have a father that cares about her and that she should spend some quality time with him. or maybe she is just really mad at her dad or something if this isnt it then shell regret it in the end. as far as it goes with her boyfriend well shell regret that too if she did somthing with her boyfriend. but as for you maybe you should try asking her wuts up with her and her dad. be nice about it though you dont want her to get mad at you for being nosy. then tell her if theres anything else she has on her mind and needs to talk about. dont bring anything up about her boyfriend though if she needs anybody to talk to shell come to you. hope i helped! buh bye!

alrighty, one of my good friends is...i guess what people would call a 'music elitist'? she's very unique and listens to old rock bands like the who and the beatles and stuff. she acts like she doesnt care what anyone thinks of her, but obviously she does or she would try so hard to be different, right? anyway, I on the other hand, am to her, the stereotypical prep. yeah, i get up and take an hour to get ready every morning, i shop at stores like AE and GAP, and i listen to pop music. whenever i give her a ride home or anything, she's always criticizing and making fun of the music that's playing, and if i go to the bathroom to fix my hair or makeup, she HAS to make a comment. i really do try so hard not to say anything to her about it. i tolerate her BLASTING the who and coldplay in my ears when i'm around her without saying anything, and i completely respect her political and religious opinions (WHICH ARE COMPLETELY OPPOSITE THAN MINE) and she doesnt. what do i do??? today i got mad and i blasted the music in the car and i kept making fun of her music, but now i feel bad. what do i do to tell her how i feel without coming off as a total b****??? Well i have this friend lets call him albert.. well okay (SORRY IF THIS IS LONG ILL RATE 5s FOR SERIOUS ANSWERS) so i have known albert since 2nd grade.. and well i need opinions on this.. okay so
1.) Albert is always flirty, touchy, smiley, etc. around me
2.) I asked his friend how he was around people he liked and he said that list above (but thats how he always is around me so im not sure)
3.) Me albert and melinda (other friend not really important) were playing in the snow.. and he always kept tackling me and throwing me in the snow and jumping one me and not letting me get up.
4.) Once i was saying about how no one liked me and stuff and he said thaat i was wrong and i told him he couldnt argue and he said he could etc.
5.) One day albert was preforming in some kind of club and he came over and was talking to me for most of the time and poking me etc. and then hugged me later on.
6.) One morning before school he came up to me and he put his arm around me (lower back not shoulder) and just stood there.
7.) Once when i was mad at him he asked all of my friends why and my one friend told me that he "flipped" out and was asking why he was mad and stuff like that
8.) He complimented me on my earings at my friends party
9.) He kind of kept moving towards me at my friends party and kept poking me and when he was sitting down he kept telling me to sit next to him.
10.) He told me that i should go to my friends party (more than once)
11.) I told him that some kid said to me i hate you you suck and he was like his life and face suck and that he hated him..
12.) He once told me if anything was seriously wrong i would be one of the first to know
13.) Once i asked him who he liked and he told me he couldnt tell me and he said his friend would tell me the next morning and his friend was like can i tell her can i tell her and he was like no.. and then he said something to him and he was like okay.. and he said some girl and then i found out he liked someone else too.. but he wouldnt tell me who that was.
WHAT IN YOUR OPINION DO YOU THINK? DO YOU THINK HE LIKES ME AS MORE THAN FRIENDS OR JUST AS FRIENDS?

it sounds like he likes you as in a girlfriend. maybe he is just shy to ask you out and is making the moves on you so that youll ask him out. it seems that he is trying to hint it out to you. you should start flirting with him and then ask him out. or if he sees that you r flirting back to him he mite see that you actually like him.
