the best thing to do (if u want good results) is take a picture of it when its just the right shade and taking it with you to the salon. after that, they'll work the magic (hopefully)

just as the legend goes, black and a tan makes u look slimmer. also, id recommend low waisted pants to make her butt look smaller, also a loosly fitted shirt with a wraparound look. since winter is coming up, she could buy a jacket with a belt that goes around it, it'll *visually* squeeze her waist line in and make her legs look leaner and lenghthier
I have straight hair (cuz i blow dry it straight) and its about medium length (not quite to the middle of my back). In the front it's angled and it starts just below my chin. I wash my hair every morning and blow dry it straight, but then after a while it starts getting dented in the front where its angled, i guess from putting it behind my ears. But even if i dont put it behind my ears, it still won't stay straight all day. Even if i straighten it that still wont work. How does everyone else get their hair to stay perfectly straight and frizz-free all day? (i especially need help with the front angles of my hair) Any ideas?
sorry to break it to ya, but some people just dont have the hair to stay straight all the time, some hair just WONT do it. but what i do with my hair is a use a chi straightener which works really well and to keep frizzes out i use an antifrizz conditioner when my hair is towel dry (NEVER EVER straighten/curl ur hair when its wet, cause youre totally frying your hair and boiling the water off of it, literally) and then i put in hair serum after i straighten it which keeps it shiney and straight and all pretty and stuff
does anyone know any eyeshadow colors that would look really nice on a dark haired gurl? my face is sorta red all the time too so i duno why tho lol but i heard blue looks really bad on all blondes, but i have a silver and it looks cute.. any others? please!!
not considering ur red face, id recommend bright colors, like teals, golds, bright greens for black hair. go to www.mac.com, they have amazing eyeshadow. and if u have dark brown id say duller colors like purples (not the super light or super dark one, the purple thats like right in the middle), yellow, or subtle greens

to get rid of blackheads.. NEVER use those dumb biore stip things cause they just attach themselves to the blackheads and rip them out, and then your pores stay the same size and you just get MORE blackheads from your open pores. get a steam facial (i think thats what theyre called.. they open up your pores and then the blackheads come out, and then when its regular temperature, your pores close up), or a mask, the one by astara, "blue flame purification mask" is really good, leave it on for about 20 minutes and then rinse it off. as for white heads, just use a good cleanser and toner and moisturizer to prevent them, you can read about them more in my advice column, i put in a lot of information on those
k, i'm 5'4", 116 pounds, long brown hair to the bottom of my back, greenish eyes, long legs, and i'm wondering what would be some make up/fashion styles be for me. i have really fair skin if that helps any, i'd just like some tips to look cuter/hotter/whatever

bright colorful colors look best on pale skin, i'd go with pastel colors. you need a hair cut too, id say cut it till its between your shoulder and your elbow. try wavy hair (waves look good on anyone), you could get it lightly permed or use a curling spray and shampoo (www.fredericfekkai.com) make sure its got either plenty of layers, or none at all cause in between looks terrible. but if you want to make it simple, just go for straightening your hair w/ a chi or ceramic straightener, it'll work wonders. make up wise, stay with natural colors, you dont wanna look like a clown, the whole point of make up is to enhance what you've got, not to give you a new face, so first id recommend going to a makeup artist so they can teach you some awesome tips, then let them put ur makeup on so you can get an idea of how it'll look, then just go home and practice. getting new clothes is easy, go somewhere like guess (www.guess.com) or bebe (www.bebe.com) you cant go wrong at those stores (they have the best pants for long legs, also you can try nordstroms and get '7 for all mankind' jeans) and try some local boutiques too.. good luck!

i dont think it should hurt at all, but be careful cause it might fry your hair
hey well i went tanning last week and on the 3rd day afterwards i would have an itchy like heat rash on my stomache and on the 5th day it was really bad. It was exactly like and alergic reaction. i had to take benadryl to stop the itching. Ive been tanning b4 this during the summer and this never happened to me. I did use a different lotion during the summer tho. Why am i getting this reaction? and its not because they dont clean the beds because i see them clean it and i lay on my back the whole time. What is this from??

it might be your skin telling you thats all it can handle. you dont wanna push your skin, once something happens, stop. skin problems are the worst thing in the world to fix.. i used to tan in beds so much, but im WAY over them, use spray on tans because they wont give you skin cancer and they look gorgeous

icy cold water is really good for your hair, but if you rinse it with hot or cold water, you wont be able to tell the difference anyway. lol. if you straighten your hair, use a ceramic straightner, theyre actually good for your hair and make it look shinier, also use a good hair serum like paul mitchell's super skinny serum or biosilk by biolage. redken's antisnap is also great for you hair, you put it in towel tried hair and it prevents most frizzes and conditions hair too!
Ok hi my name is ashlee and im 13 years old. Anyways I really would like to wear makeup and stuff like that but i have a little acne. Its going away now because I just started using my acne medication right. Bad on my part I know. Wouldnt it look bad if there was like little bumps in the makeup though? What is the best foundation or powder that wont cause you to break out? Also, I've noticed alot of people having Coach bags and Gucci bags and dont they cost alot of money? ok first of all, before you wear make up, you need to clear that acne up because once you wear makeup, your putting more chemicals on your face that might react with the acne which will cause even MORE ACNE! u need to have a cleanser, toner, and moisturizer(sp?) all by the same line so they work together. try something like the Dior iod line, theyre new by Dior and theyre make just for younger skin, it's in blue bottles and theyre exclusively at sephora, but if you dont have a sephora close to wear you live, id recommend anything by shiseido (@ major dept stores, theyve been around over 100 yrs and theyre where other makeup companies get their stuff from) or biotherm. make up wise, id stick to, again, shisedio or mac. dior has some great colors, id recommend clinique too, theyve got more down to earth, normal colors. and as far as the bags.. theyre something you should really invest in. especially coach, even though they do cost more than the avg joe purse, its something that will make you look all the more special. the gucci logo bags are really ugly, never get one of those. but a lot of them are fake, but if i were u, id MUCH MUCH MUCH rather have no bag than a fake bag, it'll make you look terribleeee
hey i have little freckles on my face n they r lyke really light so it looks like the skin on my face is dirty or something but i usually wear powder cover up by cover gurl on it and it works really well but it never lasts for a very long time...ive tryed liquid and i hate it it makes me break out..i wanna stick to powder but do any of u know any good brands that stay on long??
try shiseido. they have some amazing products, theyve been around for over 100 years, you can get it at any major department store, there make up is like not really liquid but not really powder, its like that aquasmooth stuff by covergirl, but SO MUCH better! and shiseido is designed for sensitive skin anyway so like, all their stuff is really good, they basically do lots of research and developement stuff and sell their products to other companies like lancome and eeste lauder, so theyre just the best

for stuff like that, you SERIOUSLY need to get it professionally done.. but i guess u could try waxing it, but getting it done would be MUCh better

you could try promenade (sp?). but its real thick.. then you could gel it over or spray it.. try to get hair spray with like 'instant freeze' so it'll make it stick within like 10 seconds. fredrick fekkai has some really good stuff.
