NEVER use those dumb biore stip things cause they just attach themselves to the blackheads and rip them out, and then your pores stay the same size and you just get MORE blackheads from your open pores. get a steam facial (i think thats what theyre called.. they open up your pores and then the blackheads come out, and then when its regular temperature, your pores close up), or a mask, the one by astara, "blue flame purification mask" is really good, leave it on for about 20 minutes and then rinse it off. as for white heads, just use a good cleanser and toner and moisturizer to prevent them, you can read about them more in my advice column, i put in a lot of information on those [ PresleyPizzelanti's advice column | Ask PresleyPizzelanti A Question ]
