Sunburns heal over time. I think there may be some creams for it too.

yes, they are both normal. you can get your period any time betwine the ages 10-21. when you get it, say in 6th grade, you dan't have to get it again for a few years. I guess it's because your so young it dosent devolop a pattern yet.

no you are ok. go to googe and type in "am i overweight?" and you should get a calculator to calculat it.

Hey! I'm a 14/f. I got my period(or so I think it was) about 1 and 1/2 months ago. But it hasn't come back since then. Is this irregular? Isn't it supposed 2 happen the same time every month! I don't know cause I'm kinda new at this whole thing. Plus when I had my period it was brown....like the blood and everything was brown not red. I'm pretty sure it was my period but I could be wrong I guess. Can any one please help me! I'm worried its not gunna come back. Much luv xoxoxo (link)

well if it WAS your period, and i think it was, betwine when you get it and the age of about 20 it dosent necissarily have to have a pattern. so, dont worry. it will come back. you might not get it for a while either. it maight comback in a few days, or maybe in a few months, but when you get older it will develop a pattern. dont worry

i'm a junior and guy. my friends usually like to have parties or get togethers, and i usually can't go because something comes up or i have other plans. with this group of friends, they are good guys, generally stay out of trouble, but the one day i couldn't go, i decided not to because i had to work on a project. the next day i heard one of the guys was rushed into a hospital because he was drinking too much. i dont like drinking, never have, and would like not to. so if they do invite me to a get together, should i just decline? i don't want to be left out of the loop, but personally i don't like drinking, don't really mind if others do though. what should i do...avoid it completely? will rate (link)

well, i think you should hang out with your friends. if they offer you a drink, just say no. it will be hard, but it's the right thing. if they start going to far, just leave, say you have other plans or somthing. hang out with your friwends, just be aware of your choices.

OK this is really ticking me off. I stopped my period the 27th and i JUST got it back today, which is the 8th..im getting really ticked because my periods NEVER regular its always early but this is the EARLIEST. I'm getting really frustrated because my periods getting in the way of plans and i dont know its just SO ANNOYING! what can I do about it??

nothin, just be ready. when you get to be 21 ish it will develop a pattern, it isnt unusual for this to happen, but talk to your doctor, they may know if you could do something.

I haven't started my period, but wanna ask 2 questions for when it comes:
1) Do you bleed all the time or is it like discharge, and comes out everyonce and a while.
2) It says you supposed to stay very clean when you have it. Itake baths cause my shower doesn't work. When I take a bath would thewater get all blooding during my period.

1 you bleed all the time, but it really depends, it could be really slow (light), or fast (heavy)
2 if you take a bath i may slow down but the water will get bloody

my period is late by a few days which is really weird for me because i usually get it right on time. basketball season started up this month & i was wondering if it was because of that. my mom said that if you exercise a lot & you haven't exercised that much in awhile, that could be the reason. what are some other reasons?? idk if i should worry er not. i guess i should wait a few days & go to the doctor if i dont get it?? any ideas??

ummm well honestly there really isnt any need to go to the doctor. when your under 20 or so your period cand come at any time even if it ususally is on time. just wait and it will come, soon enough.

Im 16 and scared! I have been on my period for 28 days (bleeding for 28 days) you only supose to only stay on 5-8 days. I just started using the new Nuva Ring (birthcontrol). I put it in a day after I first came on, could I have been pregnant and not know and killed the baby if there was one? (link)

Hey, I'm a fourteen year old female, and I have been smoking for around eight months. I'm sure that there are a huge quantity of smokers here, or people who know about smoking, and I have a few questions I would like answered, please.
1. Which is worse for you, cigars or cigarrettes?
2. [for the smokers] How old were you when you started?
3. Does smoking have a major impact on your voice, or is it only slight?
4. Recently, I tried to stop, and I threw a bitch fit at my friends.. I just went crazy! Was that an impact of the cigs? Am I addicted?

1: they are both very bad and both can over time kill you.
2: i dont smoke
3: smokeing has a major impact on your lungs, mouth, brain, growth, and body in general.
4: it could be. it depends on the person.

i dont get this well i never take in more then 2000 callories a day more like 1000-1500 but like im putting on weight!!! the only way i lose any is if i dont eat for a day or i have no breakfast no lunch and like a salad for dinner which i have sometimes! but i dont get it.
i did lose about half a stone last year im 51.6kg and 5'2 btw im almost 15 if that helps x x x (link)

yes, it does add up. you may only take 2000 calories or less, but to loose or keep your weight you have to exercise!! eating only a salad isnt bad as long as you drink LOTS of water throughout the day. so if you want to loose your weight, you can eat regular, but you have to exercise. hope i helped

Okay I'm 13 years old and a female. Yesterday I noticed a small bump on my left breast, near the nipple. It sometimes hurts when I touch it but it also looks somewhat like a pimple. I'm really worried that this could be breast cancer. There is no history in my family of having breast cancer. Do you think it's cancer?

well, its unlikely that you have breast cancer, but if i were you, i would tell your mom. she might know if its a pimple or somthing else. if she dosent know, go to a doctor. hope i helped

I'm going to get a physical done next week. I got the last physical done about 2 years ago, and I remember they looked down my pants to see if I was healthy "down there." My question is, am I supossed to shave my pubic hair or not? I don't wanna look like an idiot when they look "down there."

i wouldnt do that....unless you want to keep shaveing throughout your life. if you do it only this once, it will grow back quicker and thicker. i wouldnt do it, but i guess its up to you. hope i helped,

tell your mom!! just walk over to her and say "mom, when you get a chance can i talk to you privatly?" then talk to her and tell her. i think i have heard of it before, and it is nothing you should be ashamed of, but if you let it be for a while it could cause problems. tell your mom to make a doctors apointment and it should be cleard up soon. good luck!

I don't know if I have overactive bladder or not. I go to the bathroom once in the morning, 2-3 times at school, and maybe 3 times after school. Sometimes I get a little bit of pee in my underwear, or I leak when I can't use the bathroom right away. At first I just thought it was discharge (I've had my period for almost three years) but I get it a lot now. I don't know what's wrong with me... any answers please? Oh yeah, please don't say to ask my doctor (because I will), just give me an opinion on what you think.

it does sound like overactive bladder to me, so until you see your doctor try to use the bathroom when you need to, even if you have to just walk out of class when the teecher wont let you(i would only recomend doing that if you really had to go) or you could put some pads on to stop it from getting all over you...hope this helped

tell one of the nurses or one of the doctors, they deal with this all the time so dont worry they'll take care of it.
