About three days ago I started chugging cough medicine and taking way more than i should to get high off of it. i cant stop. i think im addicted to it already because ive been takin about one bottle every 24 hrs because i love the feeling i get off of it and now i dont know what to do because im getting hooked on it. please...i really need some advice because even tho its only been 3 days i cant stop and i kno it will probably turn into an addiction because even this morning i took a half of bottle and i just got to school and im just waiting for it to start to kick in. i really dont want this to be a regular thing. any one have any advice for me???

Well, whenever I'm sitting down and get up, my eyes pretty much completely black out. I can barely see anything, it doesn't last very long, it goes away in like 10 seconds, but I'm wondering if this is normal or not? It's kind of scaring me, and I thought that maybe it was because I got up too fast, but that wasn't the problem because I tried getting up more slowly and my eyes still blacked out. I wear contacts, if that has anything to do with it...
Has this happened to anyone? Is this normal?

thats happened to me for like the last 6 years
ive been to the doctor so many times cuz ivee had realy bad headache along with it..they just said get up slower...i was like wtf. but you can try going to the doctor theyre probably better then mine. i dont think its normal but its not really hurting you..hopefully. well good luck.

Okay, so I was trying to get my ear holes to a 16ga, and I couldn't find a nail or anything, so I used this broken earing, and the part that is supposed to go through your ear broke off, so I used the hoop part. Now, this isn't sterling silver, its a cheap earing. Is their any chance that I could have infected my ear, because I didn't sterylize it, but i thought if I got it hot it would melt.
My friend pierced her ear without starylizing it and she almost got blood poisioning.
2 questions:
1. Is there a chance I could get infected or blood poisioning? the earring wasnt dirty or anything.
2. What are some ways I can prevent any infections right now?

does anybody know like how to get rid of a yeast infection or what could be causing it because i get them on and off A LOT and i don't know why!!!! If it's not a yeast infection what could it be because i've tried all these diff. treatments and it goes away but then comes back shortly. and i'm not sexually active or any of that so it's not an STD.
Make a gyno appt. even though it could just be a re-occuring yeast infection. It could also be something worse so make an appt. just in case.

Well i'm 14 and my breasts have stretch marks on them, they have been there for a long time. I mean i know they are growing, but they don't seem to be changing size.

I share a bathroom with my 10 yearold sister and we keep our waste basket in the closet so my dog doesn't get to it. Everytime I get my period, i make sure i push my trash all the way to the bottom and close the closet door. BUT m sister always leaves the door open. My dog gets bloody tampons and the drags them around the house. My dad is getting disgusted and so am I! He blames it on me because of course its mine, not my moms. He says things like "You know the only thing that disgusts me is your bloody tampons" Its so embarassing!! How can I deal with this? My sister is an effin lazy ass.

Ok so im 14/f n i've been getting my period for a while now. I'm going on a school trip soon and I'm pretty sure i'm gonna have my period then. I've never used a tampon before but there is no way i can wear a pad with my bathing suit on this trip. The problem is i'm afriad to use a tampon and i don't know how. Anyone wanna help!?!

i once thought i had a yeast infection becuase of the cottage cheese like discharge i was getting. so i got the three day kit and i noticed that it didnt really make a difference. this was about a month ago. so then i noticed that this white, cottage-cheese like discharge is coming out of .. my little peehole. And this has been going on for about a year. I cant share this with my mom because i dont even talk to her..at all. literally. and we have no insurance to go to a gyno. So what is this, and what do i do?!

i'm 15, and i really want my nose pierced. my dad would not let me get it pierced, no matter how much i beg, no matter what. on the other hand, my mom said she would let me get it pierced, in a heart beat. obviously i'm not going to have my mom take me to get my nose-pierced, as my parents are still together, and i'm not going to have them get into a huge argument over some stupid little thing. so, since i'm kind of an idiot (haha), i've been thinking about piercing my own nose. i know my dad would make me take it out, if he saw it. so maybe piercing it, and then putting a flathead pin in, and putting a little concealer on over it would hide it? probably not. but what my main question is, is would piercing my own nose be really dangerous? i know that i could get an infection. but would it travel up to my brain and kill me? well, not so extreme, but could i really be putting myself in a life or death situation? if you haven't noticed from my other questions, i'm paranoid of everything. sorry.

self-piercing IS dangerous, but like you said, it's not going to "travel up your brain and kill" you..but in some rare cases, bad piercing jobs end up fatal. But most likely, i can garuntee you, that it WILL get infected and you're gonna end up with one ugly bump on your nose that everyone will notice. seriously. so lets say you pierce it yourself..yay now you have an infection where everyone can see the ball of infectious fluid between your nostril. But now you want to put a flathead pin in it! Yay for transferring even more bacteria into your new infection! And then!... clogging up the bacteria-infested infection with concealer and make-up?! Yeah. good luck with that.
Okay umm well what i'm trying to say is that this is not a good idea haha. Anyways you definetly have to use certain needles and jewelry for piercings so it doesnt get infected. And your dad might get mad at your for shoving a metal spike through your face? I dont know, just a guess. I know it seems like you want it done soo bad but when you do get it done, its not gonna be that great. I was happy when i got my nose pierced..but i dont know about it now. I see more and more girls walking around with crooked piercing jobs on their noses and nose rings the size of a rock. But, i still love my piercings. =].

aww i just got mine on too (not todaY) but when i first got them i had to get spacers, metal expander, then braces, metal expander out, just braces alone,and now i just have to get the top wire, and so thats where i am now Ha Ha. The first couple of days i went through the most horrible mouth pain ever and there wasnt much i could do about it. It wasnt only the pain i had to go through, it was also me thinking, oh God 3 more years im going to be 18 when i get them off and i was just depressed. But you can try taking some advil/tylenol (it works) to help the throbbing go away. And you can eat cream of chicken campbells soup (really good) and if your mouth is okay, eat toast with it too. Its what i had to do..for weeks haha. It sucked, but now its alot better. Its going to be hard the first couple of days, or weeks perhaps, but it will get alott better. Most people with braces go through the whole thing, and i made such a big deal the first time i got them every day people ask me "hows your mouth" but its so much better now, cuz i had people there for me, and remember im here for ya haha i know what youre goin through.

1) it looks like a red dot under your skin and if you break it blood comes out. they hurt sometimes
2) they might come, say if you have one onyour hand, from hitting your hand, etc.
i had one once and i broke it open and it was pissin out blood, theyre awesome.

Hi. Ok. So I have this really dry part on my face.. between my eyebrows. I moisterize at least, occasionly 2 times a day. I pay special attention to that certain spot, without applying to must cream, but it never goes away. I also get acne sometimes and usse spot treatments, but usually avoid that area so it doesnt get dried out. I there anything I can do ? The rest of my skin is very nice and soft. HELP ME PLEASE !!
it might be from waxing, the waxing removes the top layer of oil on your face and that could be making it dry. You can try a moisterizer for combination skin, which would work for acne-prone skin, AND dry skin. Spot treatments also use salycic acid adn that dries out the skin so try something more gentle. it should help

I have really bad strep throat and there's puss pockets all over my tonsils and stuff.. will I have to have my tonsils taken out? or is it only for when people get sick ALL the time? I'm so scared of surgery so give details on what they look for if they consider taking tonsils out. Thanks so much!
you can only get youre tonsils taken out if you have strep ALOT. like 6 times a year or something. i'd always have to go through this so i know. and if you go to the doctor theyll just give you some antibiotics for a week and it should clear up. hope i help
Okay Does anyone know what I can use to wash my face in that will not make my face dry and will make it soft. I use Irish Spring soap it it like makes my face peel and makes it really dry it seems like it tightens my skin up or something. So does anyone know of anything like soap or face wash that want dry my skin out and make it feel soft?
theres specially formulated face soaps for dry skin by neutogena, clean and clear, etc. I'd say try something by Aveeno, theyre really good for dry skin. try looking on the bottle for something like "dry skin formulated" "for dry skin", etc. Oh and also umm cetaphil is good for dry skin, but its kinda pricey. Theres alot of different products to buy so good luck!
