ok i heard this myth that if an elevator breaks down and then when it starts to fall, if you jump before it hits the first floor, then you wont get hurt. is that true?

You are moving at 9.81 m/s^2 all the time because of gravity.
If the elevator is speeding up and you jump then it will be longer and hurt you more.
Regardless of what you do in a crashing elevator you will get hurt. Sucks doesn't it?

Hola! I've been playing the guiatr for 3 monthes now, and i doubt my mom will get me lessons so i ahve to learn to play myslef, does anyone know any easy, VERY EASY songs i could play? Or any tips at all, anything! thanks!

Well Kumbya is pretty easy. It only uses the A, D and E cords. If you want pick up a book called guitar for dummies. It helps alot. Also Swing low sweet chariot uses 4 chords I belive. Em, G, A, D but once you learn Kumbya playing that is a snap.

ok so lately after i dry then straighten my hair and go to brush it and its really staticy and starts like sticking up..is there anyway to stop it from sticking? thanks so much!!

I had the same problem and spraying water on it helped make the hair go down...and jell.

I have been using this and it said to use 1.5 margins all around for writing a novel it ended up looking like this.

Should I continue with this format and if not whcih type of format should I use? How many pages for one chapter for that format?How many pages for one chapter with the format I am using now?

I would recomned about 30 pages of that typing for one chapter. Also that format is good enough.

im 14 years old. My mom isnt working right now so we dont have alot of money. The clothes i wear are american eagle, aeropostale, hollister, and abercrombie mostly. Well for school my mom said i cant get alot of clothes unless i buy them with my own money. i was wondering if anyone knew a way i could make money for some clothes. The place that i live at there arent that many kids, so i cant baby sit around here. Does anyone have any ideas?

God of war is possibly the best game for ps2.
The ratchet and clank series is good to. also grandtheft auto san andreas is a great action rpg. If your into action racing than burnout3 is a game for you. if i helped please rate.

I have a pet monkey. I also have an awesome girlfriend who I plan to ask for her hand in marrage. I love her a lot and she means the world to me. However.. I had alredy bought a very expensive white gold and diamond encrusted engagement ring. But.. I know this is going to sound stupid and made up.. but my monkey ate it. He seriously honest to god te it! I dont have enough money to buy her a new one.. so what to I do?

tell your girlfriend or take the monkey to the vet.
a stupid answer would be to stab its guts open and take the ring.
a i don't know answer would be wait till it poops it out. but i am not sure if monkeys can digest rings.

Hey everyone! Okay so I am going out with this one guy named David. So anyway, things have been going great but recently he has be talling about these weird "scenerios" that he wants to do. He keeps telling me that he wants to hold me down and tickle me under my arms and on my feet (my most ticklish spots) until I cry and beg, which scares me because I am majorly ticklish and I hate it. He also has been talking about different sexual things and its kinda creeping me out. I dont wanna break up with him, but he is acting so weird. I think it might be just a stage or something. Should I break up with him or give him another chance? Thanx 4 ur help!

I dont have normal nightmares like most people. My worst nightmares are falling down the stairs. Lame huh? So i'd just be stepping down these wooden stairs, and i'd hesitate on the last step, and fall. I always wake up with a fast heart beat. What does this mean???

its good that your concerned about your dreams because they often relate to the human subconcious of things that the human phsyche represses are brought up in our dreams and yes im only 13. the stairs could represent your path in life. you should ask solemnstar he has a 100 year old dream book. with 10,000 things that appear in dreams.

ok so my volleyball has invited the team over for a sleepover for a celebration. Im not sure if i wanna go or not. I mean the grls are really nice and we all get along and i wouldnt mind going, but the thing is i dont really know the coach well enough where i would feel comfterble with sleeping over there. But i want to. So sould i just go over there but not sleep over or what?

well i would go and leave before you go to sleep because there is a small chance your coach could be a rapists, hooker, and/or someone who takes pictures of naked girls and puts them on the interenet. there are sick people out there but since she is a school coach the chance is small but i am suspicious of EVERYONE. This might sound strange, but I need tips on how to fight. I know how to hold my fists and how to swing, but I'm scared to break my knuckles or fingers when I swing at someone. I shouldn't be fighting, but I need to learn how to defend myself when someone starts with me, which has happened before and I didn't know how to fight. Also, where is a good spot to hit the person so they back off?

hit them in the head!.(ironically my teacher said after a fight that broke out in our school that the part that bleeds the most is the head.) one tiny gash and it will start gushing. and in the nose is a good spot too. and your dad could teach you how to fight as well. also you won't break your knuckles

Okay does any one know how to get stains out of a white purse! I already tried soap and water and it does get some out but not all of them. The stains are like pencil/pen/dirt on the bottom from the ground and stuff! My purse is a white corderroy! Please help me Ill give 5's :o)

since i don't know much about purses i asked my mom. she says put it in the wash with some bleach.
