13/m Hey all, I've got the longest story in the world to tell, but nobody wants to hear that. Basically, over the summer I realized that I loved one of my best friends, I told her, she's not sureherself how she thinks of me. And I'm not talking about any of that crap teenage infatuation. I know infatuation. I know love. This is love. Well, last night, I dreamt about her =D The last time I dreamt about her, I dreamt that I asked her out. I asked her out the next day but to no avail. Of course, I've been thinking about her and only her for months, ever since I discovered my true feelings. It's been making me fail my classes---like for example we just got our progress reports, and normally, I'm really really smart, I'm in all the advanced courses, but I got an F in science...
Last night I dreamt about her. It was in the middle of French class, which is weird because she takes Spanish, and her ex was there, as were my parents... anyway, at random when Madame (insert her name here) was in the bathroom, she told me how she felt: "Hey, (my name), I've been thinking, and I realized that I actually do like you as more than a friend." And she smiled, and we hugged, and I danced around the room. I made an idiot of myself, but I was too happy to care! She finally loved me back!
Well, the dream ended as we were about to kiss, because I don't think you're supposed to know what that feels like until you actually experience it. Now, why am I so obsessed with this dream? I'm not very religious, and I'm not superstitious in the least. I don't even believe in luck, with drawing cards from a deck or flipping a coin---there are variable factors that affect the outcome. So why should I be asking a question to 10,000 columnists about some stupid dream? The one supernatural belief that I have is in telekinetics, telepathy, and psychics. Especially between twins (it's a proven fact) or in dreams. Dreams frequently predict the future in my experiences, and my sister's, and my friends', and everyone's. So why should this be any different?
It feels like I'm writing a persuasive essay right now... Another reason why is because last time something like this happened, it was when I e-mailed her how I felt (I'm way too shy) not knowing that she was on vacation with no internet connection. Well, about five minutes after I went outside to play basketball, I started thinking about her a LOT. When I came in, I checked my e-mail, and one of them was from that exact time as when I was thinking about her so much!
But I guess the biggest reason of all... is because I love her so much and I just really want her to love me back, and my mind will do anything to make me believe that there's hope when there actually isn't. For all you DnD fans out there, if you have the Unearthed Arcana book, flip to the part about the sanity points. Well, it feels like I just lost all my sanity points. In a nutshell, it sucks to be me. What should I do???
P.S. I already started keeping a diary of stuff, as of 3 days ago... not really helping...
Ok, well I did actually read this LONG question. For the dream thing, I do believe that dreams predict the future. I actually strongly believe that. I think maybe you should like sit her down and have a long talk about each of your feeling toward each other (don't tell her all the stuff about thinking about her all the time, and dreaming about her, that might freak her out) I know your shy, but if you really do like her that much you have to have the courage to step up and talk to her, you won't go anywhere without communication. As for the acknoledgement thing, I think your just getting paraniod about that, a lot of people just widen they're eyes. I wouldn't worry about it, I would start to worry if you started a convo. and she didn't do anything but widen her eyes.

Hi my name is Tina and i have a problem with my friend because he knoes i like him and he flirts infront of me with this girl and he asked her out infront of me and i knoe he is trying to make me jealous and sometimes it works and other times i just sortof bruch it off but anyway i really like this other kid and he doesn't knoe who he is and when i talk about him he gets so mad at me and then he gets jealous. In my personal expriences he is jealous because he can't have you.
Guys were basically the same as girls, he wants you when he can't have you, but doesn't want you when he can have you.
Also everybody wants to be liked, so basically I think that he wants you to keep liking him, he is flattered by it.

Ok well if its the first time your making out that I would say stick with the standard make out. You basically kiss his bottom or top lip, but make sure that your head is tilted bc otherwise you'll whack noses *ouch* If your making out than like run your fingers through his hair and stuff.

It seems like you like a challenge. Either that or when you have him you don't want him but when you can't have him you want him. A lot of people are like that including me. Its like you want to prove you can get him but you really don't want him.

there's this guy that i've met a couple of times, i see him at parties and shows. at the beginning i could tell he was really attracted to me, and i was attracted to him too. he used to stop and try to have a conversation with me, but now it's deteriorating. that is, he gives me a hug, and he doesn't even stick around to talk. he just walks off. he's so intimidating that i don't know what to say to him, or what to do to make him think i'm really confident and that i want to talk to him. because i do, but i just don't know what to say. i think he's lost interest in me, but how do i even become friends with him or get him to get my number? I CAN'T EVEN TALK TO THE DUDE! our relationship is totally stagnant. does anyone know how to take that relationship out of ground zero and move it up a level?

I know it's hard for you guys to answer specific questions like this one if you've never met me or the guy i'm about to tell you 'bout. But thanx if you can give me your honest opinion on this, i'll rate you if your advice helped me!
Okay, so there's this guy I like. I'm on his bus. His locker's kind of near mine, and his house is within walking distance. We used to talk a whole lot last year, but we don't really talk to much now..I mean, we still do, but not as much.
So anyways. I have some signs that he likes me too. They are -
-when he passes me in the hall sometimes, he doesn't say hi, but he says "ew, it's you!" in a flirty kind of way..then he smiles at me.
-he always laughs when i try to make a joke or be funny
-one of his friends talks about me and the guy i like when i am alone with his friend (he just talks about conversations we've all had and stuff..nothing too important..)
-he always tries to sit near me on the bus, if he can. but sometimes he'll try to sit with his friends. Sometimes he even sits with me, but that was only twice.
Also- there are some signs he doesn't like me. They are:
-He flirts A LOT with other girls, not just me.
-He asks other girls if they like him (BUT NOT ME)
-He says he doesn't like me (my idiodic friend asked him one day! now he avoids me a lot, cause he has the right idea, that i DO like him!)

Ok this kind of sounds like a thing I had with a guy. The way it turned out with me was, taht he did like me a little bit but he liked the other girl more. He found out that the girl was a slut but he stoped liking me. So my best advice would be is flirt with him, get his attention and be nice, bc if he does loose interest in the other girl, he might've lost interest in you, so keep him interested. Hope this helps.

They flirt with her a lot, laugh at all her jokes, sit with her at lunch, walk with her between classes, sit next to her during class, don't come on to strong though because it might creap her out. Be subtle. Also try telling her how you feel, sometimes that works as well. Hope this helps.

well is it wrong to go out with your friends ex but what if you went out with him before she did
we weren't friends at the time when she went out with him but then we became friends but I've known my crush longer than her ,me and my crush are really really close not in the touchy feeling way
Ask ur friend if she still likes him, if she does he is off limits, its girl code. If she's over him than go for it.

OK i have been going out with this guy for a few weeks and we havent gone anywhere or anything he also goes to a different school. SO then i wouldnt know if hes cheating on me or not. Hes really nice and all but im not shure if i should dump him or not. I RATE HIGH!!!!!!

If I were you I would just like see if I like him. If you like him stay with him, also you could get a friend or something that goes to his school to spy on him during school hours ;) If you haven't done anything than you should make the move. Don't alwayz wait for him to do something first!

ok well i have this friend and her boyfriend broke up with her because he didn't feel like them 2 were actually going out anymore, cause she lives 45 minutes away. He goes to my church and like so i seem him alot. Well after he broke up with her he started going out with another girl and my friend,was so mad and she was like i hate him and don't like him anymore. So i thought she was over him. Well a few days ago that girl broke up with him. SO he comes back to my friend and is like i don't know why i broke up with you, i love you and blah blah. well he told me he was going to ask her out again and i was hoping she would say no, but i found out that she said yes today. I don't want my friend to get hurt, again. I don't how to say she made the wrong decision, i don't want this boy thinking he can brake up and get back together over and over again, can u help?
Ok ok, you need to like sit down your friend and be like "He's only saying that bc he wants you back, he'll prob. end up breaking up with you again, don't you see a pattern?"

ok i'm going to give you a little backround on my life. i met ben in 5th grade and i liked him a lot. then over the summer i didn't really like him. in 6th grade like halfway through the year i decided that i really like him again. i told his friends that and they told him. he asked me out a little while later. at first it was great. he was funny, and kind of sweet, in a really prude kind of way. then i noticed how weird he is. i mean he isn't gothic, he's just kind of punk, but he likes wearing black. and he makes some really creepy comments sometimes which make me wonder why i liked him so much. towards the end of our relationship we went to a play at my school together and he held my hand, but that's as far as we ever went. then i broke up with him towards the end of the year and his friends are telling me that he kissed a girl he met at a theme park the same day that he met her! i mean i was going out with him for like 3 months and...i dunno i feel kind of weird about that. and now i really like him again, he talks to me online and hes really funny!
I think a reason he didn't kiss you is because he liked you so much he didn't want things to become weird with you two. If you do end up getting back together let him know that it wouldn't be weird. This happened with me and my boyfriend, he thought that I didn't want him to kiss me so he never did.
