Ok, so there is this guy. We are in the same grade and only have encore classes together (band/Computer class), but no other classes. I don't know why, but I like him. Hes kind, funny, and can make conversation with me making it akward. I gave him a card for Valentines day - it was a home make one and didn't have anything gussy in it. Just this peom that said like Valentines day isn't about the stuff its about the people thing. I also added this comment 'Elmo eats babies' to make it funny (I saw this Sasuake eats babies thing and got the idea =P). He knows I like him and eeryone, but ... he seems like of repelled of me. I have this other guy that sits next to me then the guy I like. He likes to joke around and be a weirdo (like me =P) He asked him if he would go out with me and he was like: O_O ... I don't know ... (this sort of got my hopes up and made me feel weird at the same time.) I tryed giving him my E-mail and stuff, but he said he doesn't have any of it (MSN and most people don't use there e-mail so ...) My friend says I should just keep on trying with this (asking the guy out), but I don't want to be as persistent as she is. I don't know what to do - I guess I want to date this guy, but he doesn't seem to like me back :/ ? or is there just sometihng wrong with me?

Maybe he sees you as a friend. Don't try so hard. Give him your number if you come across an interesting topic you'd like to discuss. But don't wait. hang out with your BFFs! If he calls and you weren't home, he'll see you're not 1 of those weird girls who only live for a phone call. Lay off 4 a week of two,don't be afraid to find other guts who ARE interested. When this guy sees that he can't have you, he may miss having a sweet girl crushing in him! What I am basically saying is: CARE A LITTLE LESS AND LIVE YOUR LIFE AS IF HE WAS JUST ANOTHER GUY FRIEND AND NOTHING MORE. He'll come around...

I have this ex boyfriend. We dated on and off for more than a year.

Recently, I caught him in some lies and minor cheating stuff. I don't really trust him, but I consider him a very close friend.

We talk about once a week, and eveyrtime we do he nags about wanting to get back together. I don't want to right now, but its not because I don't trust him.

I mean, he's a great guy, but I want to be single right now.

So I need some more reasons, even if they are made up, to keep him off.

And if I happened to havea thing with one o fhis friends, how could i break it to him without hurting him?

I really like this guy and have for going on 2 years now. We've known each other for a while but we didn't really get to be friends until 3 years ago. He was in the hospital and I and another friend of ours went to visit him, but he was in surgery so we just left a note and our present for him with the nurse. Today my friend Lisa told me that when she saw him this afternoon, he told her he was glad he was in surgery when we came. Am I wrong to be completely offended by that?

no, you like this guy & it is probaly a little envy. if lisa is his friend then why is it wrong for him to be glad to see her? i don't think you were wrong i think you just feel as if he is rightfully yours in a sense and you dont like that he "likes" other girls. does lisa know you have a crush on him? are you going out with the guy? have you two flirted?

My boyfriend and I have been having a lot of relationship problems lately. All of his family doesn`t want him to be with me. Two days after Christmas he broke up with me, then he felt bad for breaking up with me, so then he got back with me. =]

We decided to start to take things slow, because we were so dependent on each other. Last night I got upset because he didn`t answer his phone and I was worried. I started crying and he broke up with me again, claiming that I made him feel guilty all the time.

So today, we saw each other. He felt bad so we made a pact. We`re dating, but we only see each other on weekends and only talk on the phone two times a day for ten minutes each.

Mutually, we both think that this will be good for our relationship because we`ll be able to spend more time alone. But, do you think it`ll really help? Thank you!

why are guyz scheduling ur relationship? u seem dependent so instead of picking up everytime he calls, let the machine pick up. go out w/ friends more. soon, he'll want 2 spend time w/ you& wont think you are way 2 attached.

If he would do something stupid then he may be the wrong guy. You should know that until you are 18 you should NOT have sex with him. Think about the reasons that your parents don't like him. If they are wrong then show them. Talk to them and prove them wrong. If they see you truly care about him. If you aren't in love with him, he may not be worth it. if he is gonna do something crazy you need 2 be very careful. What did he do last time? My inbox is always open, plus I always answer almost immediately.

Well I dumped my four month boyfriend
today and I'm fine. But the thing is I
did it through a text message because
he texted me telling me he loved me
and I didn't want to lie to him.

do you completely trust your ex?
if the first is yes and the second is no, then you shouldn't dump your boyfriend. I think you should stay with the guy who is serious and trustworthy, otherwise, you may go paranoid on him.

Okay I like this boy but I don't think he has any interest in me. He might because I catch him staring at me. And then he looks over at me at times too. But thats it. talk to him, he may not know you know you if you are too scared to talk to him. don't become to best friend though becuz that would be awkward. if you're jealous about the other girls, be different from them. don't flock and try too hard. act like you don't care so so much, which you shouldn't. ask him out or with a few other friends for a movie or something. if you don't make a move he may gi with another girl.

I've been in and out of the hospital since October and I've spent the past week and a 1/2 in the hospital, so I haven't seen my boyfriend very much. We were both invited to our friend's new years eve party and I might be home by then to go. The problem is my mom doesnt think its a good idea for me to go to someone elses house when I just got home from the hospital...

So my mom was like why can't BJ[my boyfriend] just come over to our house? so I asked him and he got all mad at me and was like "no I really want to go to this party, I didnt go last year" and he is making me feel like crap...

So should I just keep asking my mom and see how I feel on that day or just suck it up and stay home alone?

First of all, he is ditching you for a party?! i think you need 2 dump some1 first. If he cared about you this party wouldn't be a bigger priority. I think if you want 2 stay at home then do so. Maybe if u r better, then go. if u r not well, then stay at home, eat snacks, & maybe hang out with your mom. i know y4 mom may not b the party, but she may have cool things to say.

okay i was dating this girl sammie, then she kissed another guy i flppped and we broke up, she said that that kiss didnt mean anything... then for a month she bothered me and said she wanted me back, now i finally relieze i still really like her, and shee doesnt want me back... wat do i do to get her back, or is it even worth it?

Okay, she kissed another guy and wanted you back? Now you want her even though she cheated and doesn't want you. i really think you should move on. from what it sounds like she isn't a really nice person. there is this girl in my school and she cheats. she uses guys. i am not implying anything, but do you want 2 take a risk of getting hurt again?

Well, my friend, Stephanie, likes this guy, Chris. But, Stephanie is like one year younger than me. (I'm thirteen) Chris, is my age. All three of us go to the same school.
Ok, so Steph likes this guy in my grade named Chris. It seems like he kinda likes her back. For example, when he would volunteer to help the people in her class, he would always read over her shoulder, or find an excuse to talk to her. I, on the other hand also volunteer, and I kinda spy on them. lol.
Anyways, there are some real signs that he likes her back, but how would Steph make him say that he likes her? Or how can Steph tell him that she likes him, in a non-obvious way? Can you give her some tips?
Oh, and just to let you know, Chris is the kind of guy who is pretty shy, but once you get to know him, he talks a lot. Steph is really shy, and probably wouldn't be able to confess her to crush. Please help her!! Thanks!!

Well, since they're obviously not going anywhere in this "relationship" you should ask them and some other friends to go to the movies. Then, let them slowly begin to hang out. If they aren't making any moves, play matchmaker. As for Steph, just go up to him and ask him for a date. Ask him like you aren't doing anything big. I was scared at first, but I just tried.
