I am currently a college student. I am studying Psychology and plan on getting my PhD or PsyD to become a counseling psychologist. I am also minoring in music because I love to sing. I have been singing and playing the piano since I was about 5 years old. I also love to ride horses. I have the most perfect boyfriend in the world and I love him so much.

If he really loves you, then he would respect you and not expect sexual favors from you. A relationship is kind of like a wordrobe... sex is only an accessory, whereas love and friendship are the more important things such as actual clothes. Although, it is nice to do something sexual for him every once in a while.

There are many ways to make a girl feel special. If you love her, tell her at least once a day. Look into her eyes and tell her she is not just pretty, hot, or beautiful, but tell her she is gorgeous and really mean it. You could also buy her flowers, but on a special day so it doesn't look like you're trying to suck up to her. Maybe buy them for her on your month or year anniverseries. Try to take her out to a nice place for dinner one night. It doesn't necessarily have to be an expensive place, just don't take her to McDonalds though either.

I met a guy at the beginning of the summer and we've been spending a lot of time together... almost every day. I'm a virgin but I'm ready to have sex (save the sex speeches please, im 17 and i can make my own decisions) and I really want to with him.... i like him a lot and he likes me a lot. The other night we were getting pretty close... and he said "its up to you". After hearing him say this and knowing that it could really happen made me think... and kind of nervous. He's leaving in less than a month and he goes to school thousands of miles away. There's a chance I may never see him again... and if i did it wouldn't be for, like, a year. It makes me sad to think he's leaving and we can't be anything more than we are... and I'm wondering if sex would just make me even more emotional about it. Can I hear your thoughts and/or stories? It depends. Ask yourself what if he meets someone else while he's away. It's up to you but I think the 6 month rule is good to follow.

i've been friends with a guy named chris since i first moved here 2 years ago, we went but since i had no prior experiance with guys or my feelings for them, i confused my friendship feelings for something more, so i had to break up with him.
After breaking up it was real auquered for him since he still liked me so i stopped being friends with him all together....
then in january of this year we started talking again, just as friends, it wasnt as aquered as b4 so i decide to be his friend again. ive always liked him in a way, he's one of the kindest and sweetest guys i know.
And wen i thought i mightve been pregnant i talked about it with him, and no one else.
i never even considered of asking him to do this but the next time i saw him, he gave me a pregnancy test....thankfully was neg........
for the longest time i thought he'd gotten over me but since that day i was no longer sure.
Since then ive randomly asked guys if their gf asked em to get em a preg test wat wud they do, not one of em said they wudve bought it.
so ive been thinking well chris wasnt even my bf we had barely started becoming friends again....

It sounds like he loves you but don't let that ruin your relationship. He may just love you as a friend and really care about you.

I have this problem in me that is negative thinking mind. I keep thinking of the past experience with my ex's and how they betrayed my trust in them.
I am in a love relationship now and i keep thinking that my boyfriend is also like my ex's when he has not even hurt me before.
He knows about my negative thinking and has helped me to put on a positive mind always.It doesn't seem to work.

Every girl that has had an awful relationship goes through the same thing that you are going through. It's totally normal for you to feel and act that way. The only thing you can do is have him express how he feels and see if he feels the way you do and wants to stay with you. If he does, you just have to slowly learn to trust him. There is nothing you can do to prevent someone from breaking your heart.
