Q: thanks..i tryed it..but i could figure out how to use it =/
could you maybe tell me what to do to get it off that website.
what you have to do is make an account. after you make it, you search the song you want, and look for users who "have" that song. Then you go on to that persons profile thing and ask them to send it to you. They will email it to you with the sheet music adobe reader file attached. Some peope will send you anything, but some people only want to "trade", and wont send you anything unless you send them somthing. But most people will just send you whatev you want.

Q: i reallly wanna learn how to play the song industry by jon mclaughlin on the piano. does anyone know if there is any tutorial or website where i can print out some sheet music...but i don't wanna have to pay for it. thnx.

Q: 14/f

i always knew that i wanted to have a career in music when i grew up. and i still want to pursue a music career and get a record deal and hit the big time and all that. but i dont know where to start. my favorite band is paramore, and i really want to start a band like paramore. i already write my own songs but i dont know how to start a band. my friend caleb is already in a band and idk if there is a lead singer (that is what i'd like to be) so how do i ask??
also, how can i get my band off the ground and get a recording contract and all that?? please help!! thanks!
I would just ask Caleb if hes looking for a lead singer, and if hes not, ask him if he knows any other bands who are. (Kids in bands often know all the other kid bands around, so he may happen to know another band looking for a lead.) If this dosn't work, maybe you would consider starting your own band since you DO write the songs, becuase if you join somone elses band, its a whole different story trying to get them to use YOUR material.(they prob. have thier own!) If you start your own band, you're going to need at least one guitarist, prob 2, and a basist and a drummer- thats pretty standard format. (Or I dont know if you want to be like Paramore, mimic their format, Im not farmiliar with them so I dont know) maybe a keyboardist? Do you have any friends who play these instruments? Ask them if they want to do it, and if they dont, ask them to direct you to some kids who would, becuase they might know some. I dont know if you know any kids like that, but Caleb would definately be a good start.

OK- so however you get into/form your band, the only way to get known is performance performance performance. Play at every possible oppertunity- School talent shows, Battles of the Bands, like if your town/city has like a carnival, festival type thing... even if any of your friends are just having a party, ask them if they want a live appearance of your band. And like the other person said, Myspace music pages are golden. Get one ASAP for your band and upload music as soon as possible. Just get your bands name out everywhere. (And by everywhere, I mean like your school and community)

Since you're 14, If you are still in middle school, I just want to say that in my personal experience, the performing op's and partys didn't really start till high school, and if youre in highschool, you already know that!

So getting a band and performing locally as much as possible is the start, but honestly Ive never personally known a band to make it any further than that- so you'll need somone elses advice on how to get a recording contract.

I have been in a few bands as a small part or as a step-in, and tons of my friends are in student bands, so I hope I've thoroughly explained how to at least start out on your career! If you have anymore questions, just ask- I love answering questions about music and making it!

Q: Are there any songs about loving someone else, when you already are with someone?
Thanks sooo much.
if you are familiar with the beatles music, theres TONS of songs like that!

Q: I can't read the notes! I've really tried. Are there people who just can't read notes or something? I've looked at websites online, asked my teacher, everything. I've been playing piano for like a month, but only by memory or writing down the number of what finger to play. How long does it usually take for someone to read notes? Do you have a really easy way? I can't even read them with the whole acronym thing. I feel so stupid!
ohh honey, Ive been taking piano since I was four, and honestly i couldn't read music fast untill I was in 5th grade, when I started saxophone in the school band. but, in our school's band, we practice every single day for 45 minutes. But saxophones only use treble cleff, so now I can sight read treble clef very quickly, but my bass clef is still weak! and im in 10th grade now! So basicly, it took a long time. I only finally figuered it out with intense practicing and brute force. (mean band teacher) Dont fret after just one month!!!!!! (sorry I got a little off-topic there)

Oh, and the acronyms can help, but its confusing which ones go with the lines and spaces on which clef. So, remember- the second line up on a treble clef, aka the one that the symbol wraps around, is G.

On base clef, the two dots on the symbol are arond the F line. thats why base cleff is somtimes called "F clef"

Also, try reading flash cards, or go get like a little kids activity book for note reading. You can get those at music stores.
