So..
I've been writing this book..that I love writing..but when people comment on my work saying I have a good topic, and it's a good story..yet I need to work on my grammar. It's the simple things that I'm not doing right..like putting the comma's in the right place..and there, their and they're.

Congratulations! I hope your story get's published so I can read it, I love reading. I think that grammer is a big problem when writing, people need to understand it right? Advanced English should help you figure a few things out btu here are some tips:
-Make flash cards and leave them lyign around the house. Then when you walk by them you'll see it and have to figure out stuff like "Where sould the comma go?" or whatever. After a while you usually just end up memorizing it and making sense of it. Comma's can be entered when you want to enter extra writing but do not need a period, like right now.
-I always had trouble with the there, their, they're thing. I always think of their because it has an I in it. I kind of used the I to represent it. The opposite of me having something is them having something (hope that makes sense). So i and their kinda went together for me. You can use flash cards for this to. Put the word on one side and the meaning on the other, after a while you'll have the correct meaning for the correct word!
-Whenever I use they're I always check to see if it makes sense if I use 'they are' instead because they're is the abbreviation.
Don't let what others say get to you either. Just know that you are a creative person and can accomplish anything you put your mind to. Good Luck!
