advice

hey i'm the girl who asked if the guy i liked was being short with me. you made me feel better about the situation, and i did see him yesterday but it turned out different than i thought and i need some more advice on where to go from here please :] this will probably be long but i just feel like you need to know everything that happened!

joe is 18, hes a senior in high school. i'm 19. the two girls are 17 there names are syd and brynn. just some background info!

so like i said me and these two girls were meeting at my cousins house yesterday, which is joes neighbor. well i'm really close with my cousin and he wasnt home so he was like just go inside. well i was waiting for the girls to come and they got lost so i went outside and was giving them directions, and then i see joe coming down the street. i sort of ignored him while i was on the phone, and then after he was still outside so i went over there and was like give me my keys!:) and he was like alright hold on let me go get them. well then the girls came and parked in front of joes house. now, the girls go to the same school as joe so they know him. i am not in high school anymore, i just graduated. so then joe comes out and hands me the keys, and is like brynn way to park in my yard! he was joking around but then brynn throws the keys at joe and is like here you can move it if you want and he was like nahh. well then me and the girls and joe went inside my cousins. brynn was flirting with joe hardcore, it was upsetting me! she doesnt know i have a crush on him, i mean i dont want it to get around, i dont even know if its just a crush, an attraction, idk! anyways so i was like welll okay, and then laura starts giving joe this massage and stuff and i was getting jealous. i was just trying to ignore it. i felt weird at times because laura and syd are close, and they were telling joe these funny stories that happened, i felt left out a little. well then we all went in the living room, my cousin was home at this point. i was sitting on the couch with syd and joe was laying on the floor. we were all talking and he was like hey linds i think i might be able to go the that game tomorrow, because my games at 9. i was happy. well then syd and brynn left and like 10 min later joe left because he said he was going home to take a nap (hmmm, he left right after them?) well then later i was outside playing football with joes little brother who i love and my cousin! then joe comes outside and is talking to my cousin and i'm just jokin around with joes little brother. i didnt talk to joe, but i could tell he was looking at me. well then me and my cousin left, and then later i met up with brynn and syd again. i texted joe and was like so are you coming tomorrow then? and he was like yeah if can, i'll text you tomorrow after my hockey game. well today, he never texted me. i didn't even end up going to the baseball game because i didn't have anyone to go with. my cousin bailed out tooo. i was thinking maybe thats why joe didnt text me, because he might of found out my cousin wasnt going? i just dont know what to think anymore. when its me my cousin and joe, he flirts with me all the time. but then when the girls were over, he didn't talk to me very much. all the girls love joe, hes the stud of the school. and i dont throw myself at guys so when brynn was flirting with joe, i just let it go. i didnt want to feel like i was competing for his attention, thats not me. joes has a flirty personality though, and i dont like that about him hahaha. and i do too, when i'm around joe and the guys i guess i kind of flirt with the other guys, i think making joe a little jealous. i just dont know what to do anymore!!

You know how you said that you are flirty and you flirt with guys infront of joe ? yeah ... well, you know how he is starting to flirt with girls infront of you .. ? yeah, he's trying to make you as jealous as you make him. you may think that guys aren't that clever, oh but trust me, never underestimate them. ahaha. and that really is what this whole thing sounds like to me. a game of cat and mouse, to put it hypothetically haha.
what you need to do is talk to him. I know what you're thinking.. "easy for you to say." yeah well, it's easy for you too. you just have to do it. if you don't talk to him, or tell him how you feel, then nothing is going to happen and both of you are going to wind up hurting eachother.
I can tell that there is somewhat of an attraction between you two. you just have to be open about it, and unafraid. you need to ask him or tell him how you feel.
