A long time ago, when I was six, (Very long time!) I got hit in the mouth with a golf club, and I got 10 stitches, 5 on the outside, and 5 on the inside of my mouth. I lost TONS of blood. Ever since, I've been freaked out at the very mention of golf. Is this normal? And how do I get over this?
Yes it's normal. Almost everyone is haunted by a fear that originated in the past. How do you get over it? You just have to realize that things happen when you're younger because you aren't as coordinated as you are now. Over time, the fear will eventually wear away as you realize that the chances of that happening are slim. Plus, obviously the accident wasn't bad enough to kill you, considering you are alive and, I assume, perfectly healthy today. So even if it did happen again, you'd heal and be fine again :) Hope I helped!
