My son is 16 months old. I've been tossing the idea around to start trying the whole potty training bit to see if he's ready.
Is that too young?
Any pointers and tips would also be appreciated. (link)
I think it all depends on signals he is showing you. Does he tell you when his diaper is wet and needs a change? does he seem interested in watching you or anyone else use the toilet? You could just start slow by telling him big boys poddie in the toilet and get him a little poddy chair. My son is 19 months and he seems interested in watching us use the toilet, but doesnt seem to want to himself. I figure I would wait until he shows a little more interest, in case too much forcing will want him to rebel against using the toilet. good luck

Thanks for answering!
He is showing a lot of the signs. It just has me so unsure of myself, because of his age. They say that boys usually train later than girls.
I'm going to get him a little potty chair and let him try it out to see if he's interested in going. Or, at least, to try to get him used to the idea.
Thanks again!
