Hey guys,
So I have been writing lyrics for a little while. I like to write based on life experiences and my music reflects who I am. I am not good with writing music to go with it, but I have an idea of how I want the song to sound. I have always wanted to make a demo, but I am not quite sure how to go about. Does anyone have any ideas?

Well, I always found the easiest way to figure out the music half was to confront someone who has a good music background. For me, that's my dad, since he is naturally "musically inclined" ha ha. If you don't have anyone like that, another thing to do is get a piano or a keyboard and sit down a play around with it. I say a piano because, to me, it is the easiest instrument to get the general sound of the song out. Plus it's pretty basic, low to high :) it's all set up so you can just play around with it!
