I think this is a great method for when a problem is too complicated to deal with for the moment, or for when it isnt the time or place for you to be sad about your problems. I think its great that you can compartmentalize your life and put aside your problems for the time being.

I also think that you should face your problems eventually, because in my life it has proven to make me so much happier.

I think you should take maybe an hour a day, maybe in your room when its quiet, and sit with a pen and paper and just figuire out what your feeling. And then the next day, take an hour (or even half an hour, or ten minutes) and figuire out a solution to the problems.

I know that works for me. At the end of every day i spend ten minutes figuiring out what i disliked about the day, and how to make sure it dosent happen anymore.
