advice
By 2 weeks I have to pick a novel that is fictional, min. of 200 pages, and is appropreate for a catholic school.
Any suggestions or what you picked on your first year of highschool and was successful?
Btw, I'm a slow reader, if it narrows down your list.
I agree with the first columnist about Water for Elephants. It's an excellent book, and I just picked it up at the local library. I haven't been able to put it down since I checked it out. I'm not going to spoil the story for you, but you can look for a synopsis online if you like.
However, I'm going to have to say that the Clique series is not exactly the best read that you can find. I just don't think that a book focusing on rich, spoiled, middle schoolers is the most educational book (since this book is for your school, right?).
