about

Hey, i'm April. I'm 17 and live in Indiana. On September 2nd 2009 I had mt lovely daughter Avril Jane. Being a mom is not as hard as everyone always says it is. I have been dating my wonderful boyfrendd Jarrod since Sept. 28, 2008. I'm pretty relaxed and I love to help people!
advice
If it's not too...big of a commotion or problem for you, could you tell me about a funeral you went to?
I'm going to my friend's grandma's funeral and it's the first one I ever went and I have no idea what's going to happen, what it's about, and not really sure what it is except that it's something that happens after someone dies.
P.S, do you HAVE to wear black? Not to be disrespectful or anything but this is just how i see it: "If I died, I'd like everyone to wear colourful clothes, to kinda celebrate that i moved to heavon in the afterlife"
thanks
Ok first it is not necessary that you wear black, but it is good etiquette and respectful. Other dark colors would be acceptable. When you walk in there will be a guest book for you to sign. During the service the pastor will talk about the life that that person lived. They will talk about who they married and where they went to school, worked, ect. Friends and Family may get up talk about how they knew the person and how much they will miss them. Then there is a burial. The pastor will say a few words the the pall bearers will carry the casket to the grave and they will bury them.
