In my college English class, I'm doing a paper comparing Harry potter to Jesus Christ. I've got a lot of good points, but i was wondering if anyone had any other good points or suggestions that could help me out. I've got plenty of links to web sites so i don't need any links(unless you think it's a particularly good link) but just tell me any ideas or facts you have that could help me.

Lol. Comparing Harry Potter to Jesus?
Harry Potter is into witch craftery, which is actually against most modern day religon. I could understand how you might would want to compare the two though.
Harry Potter was a special boy. He was given special powers because of the amount that his mother loved him or something along those lines. Jesus was said to be born of a virgin [something Harry Potter was obviously not] and had a heavenly father. Both of Harry's parents are regular people.
Jesus was supposedly sent to save the world from sin. Harry Potter just happened to have a gift that people in authority noticed enough to help train him.
Harry was often very disobedient, Jesus never sinned. Harry wasn't respectful of authority, whereas Jesus was very submissive when he was supposed to.
Harry saved people's lives. Jesus saved people's souls, which are more important than their lives. Harry was an orphan, Jesus had earthly parents, and a heavenly father.
Lolz, not to mention that Harry was British and Jesus was of Middle Eastern decent.
So.. I can't really see many similarities between the two of them at all, I don't believe.
Maybe that helped? ..Or atleast gave you some ideas about their differences.
