Q: Okay so ill give u sum background.. me and this guy we'll say his name is tyler dated for 5 months. I fell so in love with him at the beginning of the relationship then he was different later on in the relationship and all we ever did was fight and argue and he was insecure so he was really protective and would freak out if another guy talked or texted me. So then we finally broke up. We broke up almost a week ago. Well, we still talk and he wants to be with me but thinks he messed up too bad. most of the time when we talk he acts like im still his girlfriend or like im his property and goes around threating people. He irritates me soo much but I cant seem to get over him and when he mentions his chick friends it drives me crazy and makes me sort of jealous. When other guys ask me out and things i feel like im cheating. How do I get over him? So i can move on with my life??

Tyler is abusive. The way he acts is violent, even though there may not be any physical hurting. The way he acts is jealousy gone out of control, and he is possessive. You guys did not have a healthy relationship, and you won't in the future. So don't think about it. Just realize that you'll never be happy in this violence cycle. i suggest to go to a guidance counselor, recommend to them that Tyler should visit them too, and get out there and find some people who won't abuse you. I would give you more information for an organization called the Katie Brown Organization which is founded by the family of a girl killed by domestic violence, but they don't have a website. Happy 2008! My name is Dana for those of you who don't know, and I obviously love to give advice, because if I didn't, I wouldn't be here. I will pick at anyone who doesn't bother to capitalize their "I"'s or the beginnings of sentences. Proper grammar and spelling is very important to me. bcuz it Just loooks soooo sloppie when u type lyke this. Never ask me anything about how fat you are or love life. Cliched, I know, but I am heartless when it comes to the truth. If you don't know what to do with your cheating boyfriend that you still love, go ask someone else since I could not care less. Seriously.
