I'm pretty sure this generally happens a lot, but I dont know. My ex dumped me like..idk 6 months ago? its been a while, plenty of time. but now he has a new gf. and i was about 99% sure that i was over him, but now when i see them together i just..i dont know, its not like im jealous exactly, its just that i dont like seeing him with someone else. does that make sense?
any advice to get over this?( besides finding my own guy or whatever, cause im being pretty independent lately.) does this mean im not totally over him also? cause i thought i was beyond him, but now i worry..and i so dont want to still be on that.

i did the exact same thing with my ex of 10 months. & we'd been together for 2 yrs. it's not necesarily that you miss him, but it makes you angry inside to know that he can find someone other than you, it's selfish but it's true.
it makes you miss the way he was towards you & a spite of envy does strike you, it's normal.
& it's okay to miss him, because every girl has at least one guy they always think about/go back to. & it hurts when you see someone you really, honestly cared about holding all over some other girl.
i know the feeling, & i doubt it'll go away for awhile.
but the truth is(even though you don't want to hear it) that the only true way to forget him, is to let go & meet someone else.
because then you won't be worrying so much about him & his new girlfriend as you will you & your new boyfriend.
