im 17, im very responsible, im in el paso texas for the summer--i paid for it! i worked all year long to visit my boyfriend. now my mom "let" me go which was cool. but now shes going to call the cops on me to make them send me home back to washington can they do that? because i went a little over on my phone bill which is in her name and im sending her money little by little but now she says if i dont send more than 100.00 shes going to call the cops and MAKE me come home. its just plain bullshit i dont know what to do, any advice for parental bullshit? shes crazy if i dont call her everyday she sends the cops over -.-" bullllshit. Ask your boyfriend if he can loan you enough to get your mom off your back for a while. Then try to explain to your mom that the cops have bigger problems than harrassing a minor because their mommies want them back at home.
Then, I suggest that you turn your phone off for a while. I mean, you're with your boyfriend for the summer. Enjoy it with him.
Also, if she does actually send the cops over, explain to them the entire [100% truth] of the situation, and ask them if she calls again, to please just ignore her. You never know, I've met a couple cops that would actually do that.
