Q: I recently just started working at a bakery . im only working weekends becuase of the fact i speak spanish and on the weekends the put out all the spanish pastries which attract many spanish speaking people and all the american girls dont like working with those customers because they dont speak spanish. so they decided to hire me to make it easier to communicate. Anyways i love attending the spanish people i guess its a really good experience for me the boss isnt mean or anything. Ive worked 4 days (2 weekends) but its causing me to have so much stress. I really thought i would love working at a bakery and all but working there has just made me a stress wreck.. its summer i dont want to be like this and i know once school starts i definantly wont be able to deal with working on the weekends. Anyways i want to quit i feel terrible i hate having to quit after 2 weekends of working but i dont want to be stressed out. Its so hard for me im not so coordinatted i drop food on the floor i get embaressed once i almost cried from just being overwhelemd.. i make mistake with orders .. when people ask me questions ex/ whats in that pastry?? how much is it?? do you have... ?? its just so much for me to remember and i dont have the best memory. i cant take it.. its fun but its also not .. i dont know what to do im afraid to quit i really am i dont know what to say to the boss ive become friends with him and all and my fmaily goes there on the weekends for the spanish foods and i dont want him to have a bad vibe of my family when they come in all because of me.. it stinks its such a good bakery and if i quit im afraid to ever walk inside of it again..

ughhhh im so messed up what should i do???
Hey, so I'm a hostess at a restaurant and we get yelled at a lot by the servers, and it's really easy to freak out and not know what to do. All you have to remember is composure. When you have confidence and don't let things fase you as much, you'll be much better off. Also know that it is just a job, and once you leave the workplace, all of the stress should just go away because you just completed another successful day at work. Try to do your best and that's all you can do. When you make a mistake, apologize to the customer and move on! Give it a couple more weeks because you have only worked four days! Know that you are a good employee and go in to work everday with that attitude.

good luck-

Great answer. (You didn't get rated, so I did it. DN.)
