Q: are tv commercials scams? i assume that since theyre on tv someone must have checked them out. hmm. some things sound to good to be true.
As the adviser said below me, they are true, because if they lie about it, they can get sued for false advertisement. What they usually do, they leave out one tiny detail about the product, that actually has a lot to do with it.

Here's a perfect example, and this is true.
You know the Cingular commercial where for only $5 dollars more a month you get unlimited text messaging? Well, yes of course that is correct, but the twist to it is, it's only from Cingular to Cingular. So if you had that, and texted someone that has Verison, they would charge you for it.
