okay so im going to a bat mitzfah. and i have a few questions.

1. Is it formal? Semi-formal? i have a nice dress, one i wore to the school dance, is tht good you think? it was very nice, black & white with flowers and some lace.

2. What kind of present do you give the person? like a gift card or something?

3. Should I do my hair all nice and ware makeup too?

You can give the person anything, but if you get money or a gift card, give it in a multiple of 18. The number 18 in Hebrew means life. (Chayim)
