maybe your just not ready to commit. a lot of people have issues with it because it can lead to getting hurt, hurting the other person, and can even ruin a good friendship. but dont be afraid of all of this. if you've had bad experiances in the past where you got hurt dont let them influence you anymore. if this guy has told you how he feels and wants to date you you should give him a chance, but if your just not ready tell him exactly how you feel. he'll understand. good luck.
