Life really is a roller-coaster with it's ups and downs and varying speeds. Yet no matter how hard you try to stay on an even keel, something always comes along to kick you in the teeth and remind you just how fragile life is. We are all trying to live the best we know how and to get along together. So take time to appreciate those around you and tell them how much you love them occasionally. A smile and a kind word speaks volumes.

I got a problem. No one else but me in my entire family can extend our families gene legency. There's the district possibility that my genes may be gone completely from this planet if I do not get married, and have children, so it's important I do. As well as that, my father would really like to live to see his grand children, and he's starting to get old.
Well I have never even dated a girl before or even in the least hugged one. All the girls I know have boy friends, and they're in pretty committed relationships. I know I'm young, and still got a way to go, but going by everyone else's trends things are looking pretty horrible to me. The process of having a relationship, getting married, and then finally having kids could easily be a 10 year long process, and my dead could be on his death bed by the time.
Well am I over reacting by worrying, or does this sound like a bad situation? (link)

It's easy to worry about things like this, but it isn't a bad situation. Even though your Father is aging he may live to a ripe old age. Yes relationships do take time to deepen and mature into marriage and children but don't speed up the process by choosing the wrong person. Sometimes little problems can get blown out of all proportion and you need to step back a bit to see a clearer picture. Just start the process off by meeting girls who have a similar outlook to yourself and who enjoy the same activities you do. It will happen for you, and everything that is meant to be will be. I wish you well.

Well I agree, and that's why I said easily 10 years. I see relationships looking bad, and lame all over.
