There has been recently a bomb scare at my sister's high school. A custodian found on the wall : MHS WILL BLOW UP 3/22". Now they are investigating the whole school, screening backpacks, and sending in bomb sniffing dogs. Should we let my sister go to school on the 22nd? Or stay home for a few days because it might happen on another day.

Defintily let her stay home the day before, and the day after, IF NOT MORE.
Bomb threats are very dangerous, and need to be taken seriously.
