I'll assume some people know how to play secret santa here, so I'm going to get straight to the question. I have to buy a gift for somebody I barely know. Shes short and asian, shes smart and that's all I know. What could I get her that's beetween 10-15 dollars? Thank you (link)

I'm asian but I can say that asians behave very differently in different parts of the world.
Most american-asians aren't as deeply rooted in their culture and superstition. But you could play safe and avoid giving things like clocks (the chinese word for giving clocks as present means sending the person off at a funeral), wind chimes (ghosts-related) etc.
You could get her IQ stuff like the rubix cube (you get what i mean right? but of cos don't give her a rubix cube)
There's this IQ thing which has 2 metal pieces locked together and you need logic and technique to separate those two metal pieces. It'll be great to get her that as an xmas present.
