Much of this is an opinion question, so anybody and everybody feel free to answer, please. You don't need to know much about frogs, at all.
I am now the proud owner of two frogs. One African Clawed Frog. One African Dwarf Frog. Water frogs; not to be handled. I have determined that they are not to be put together, due to the potentially harmful claws one of them has. Right now they are each in their own aquarium. Problem is, I only have room for one aquarium, and I do not want to give the other frog up.
--What I am wondering is, if it would be alright to put them in the same aquarium WITH a thick piece of plastic separating them. I would make sure that the plastic is stuck in place and can not be moved, so the change of them getting to one another would be virtually impossible. Space would not be a problem for either of them. They would each have plenty of room.
(Here is where anybody can help:)
IF I do separate them with a thick piece of plastic, should it be clear plastic or colored? Do you think it would distress them if it were clear? Do you think they would feel like it's a whole new world infront of them that they can't explore? Or do you think it would be a GOOD idea, because they could almost have a playmate?
I guess the way for me to find out would be to obtain clear plastic and see if the clawed one attacks the glass, but even if he doesn't... will that stress either of them out? Does anybody have any clue, thoughts, opinions. I'll appreciate anything!! (link)

i think it will be fine, but if its two males it may be a problem. two females is fine i think. a male and female is fine too in my opinion. but two males whos stronger whos weaker who could get a girl frog lol may be a problem, then i would suggest a tinted barrier. or keep them together for a day and see what happens. all i no about frogs i learned in the 1st grade..

Hmm. You know, I never considered if the two males would be extra aggressive. I just know one is a killer. Good thought, though. Something to consider. I think I'll go with solid color, just to be safe. THANKS!!
