about
You can ask me about ANYTHING, and I mean it. If I don't have an answer to give you, instead of making something up, I WILL find you somewhere to go where you will be able to find out what you need. My inbox is always open, and you are quite welcome to IM me on AIM. I think thats about all you need to know, but if you've got other questions...well...see above. =)
advice
Anyone out there know a good guitar out there. I really only want to spend $500 at the most. I'll rate.
Everybody is going to reccomend Fender to you, and I bet its just because Fender has advertisements EVERYWHERE.
While they're good guitars, I'm going to offer you some alternatives.
Gibson is a very nice brand, but thier guitars are usually very expensive. Epiphone makes Gibson copies of guitars -- and Gibson endorses them.
I have an Austin brand guitar, two infact, and they've proven to be very nice guitars. My electric one is a copy of a Gibson SG. It sounds the same, but plays easier for me. I'm a tiny person, and the Austin brand is lighter -- Gibsons are hefty guitars. The only difference in looks is that it has dot inlays and the pick guard is only on one side of the strings.
I recommend Austin, it will well fit into your budget. You can check them out at austingtrs.com
