I was reading a magazine that said if you have more than about 10 hairs around your breast you may have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. I looked it up to see what it was, and I am now sort of concerned. I know i should talk to a doctor about it, but before I do does anyone who knows anything about this syndrome or about women's health know if having lots of hair around your nipple is almost deffinetly Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome?
when you have that you usually have extra hair growth... like dark and on your stomache back legs... also you have some kind of skin discoloration and sometimes those skin tacts (like they are kinda skin that hang kinda like a mole) and if u have a bad case of it it sometimes messes up your period.but i wouldnt worry if you dont have all those symptoms,its probrably just a little extra hair. hope i helped oh yea they are testing me for it just b/c i have the skin discoloration... the disease can go away with medcine i think.

oh thank you for your advice! i don't have anything else with my skin but i sometimes have irregular periods (not always). do you know if a lot of girls who don't have that syndrome still have a lot of hair there? thanks!
