Q: I have a very big fear of the dark. The thing is Its not beacuse of just a little thing like scary movies or stuff like that. I had a really bad expierence in the dark at a hospital after one of my heart surgerys. I can't go anywhere without a light on or someone close by. Its kinda silly i no but i need help. How do I slowly get over this stupid fear. Im a 15 yr old female. Im too old for this!

i completely understand. i am afraid of the dark. and i am also 15. most people know about my fear. i carry a mini flashlight in my purse everywhere i go. it took me a while to realize that it isn't a big deal. everyone has fears. ours just happens to be the dark. so no worries, just don't be ashamed of it. i'm not. and i'm extremely happy with myself.
