about

You can ask me about ANYTHING, and I mean it. If I don't have an answer to give you, instead of making something up, I WILL find you somewhere to go where you will be able to find out what you need. My inbox is always open, and you are quite welcome to IM me on AIM. I think thats about all you need to know, but if you've got other questions...well...see above. =)

advice

Does anyone else think that the ads within the questions are extremely irritating? I mean I know Advicenators is free and all and they have to get money from somewheres, but come on. I think it takes away from the seriousness of people's questions and is rather distracting. The ads on the sides are nice and I must say I've clicked on them before, but when someone says "he has to stay at work late to make up the time" in thier question I feel it's extremely tacky and quite ridiculous to have a make up ad in the middle of that person's serious question that has nothing to do with painting their face. When reading along in a question, when something is underlined and a different color your eyes automatically go to it and your brain focuses on it making it difficult to focus on the question. I get distracted very easily. If I were answering a question and the ad within it was something I wanted to look at I would likely click on it and not put my full attention into the advice I was giving, which I believe is unfair. I sure don't want any ads in the middle of questions I may ask in the future. I dunno that's just my thought. I think it would be really ironic if one was put into this question. Anyways, what does everyone else think? Am I overreacting?

I think they're really annoying. But I can't complain, as I'm using this site for free, and the ads are needed to make it possible for me and others to use the site free of charge.

If they're really bothering you - sign up for a paid account, and they will dissapear.
