Q: I am going ahead in my math book, and I completely forgot something... If you were to plot the graph Y=5/3sin(-2Pi/3)x+1, how would you do it? What do each of those numbers mean?
I don't have a graphing calculator with me, but basically don't you just solve it. Do sin (5/3) times (-2*3.14/3). That will be your slope. So it will be y=(your answer)x+1.

hope this helps- :)

Well, I learned how to do it yesterday. a(sin(bx+c))+d
d is vertical shift, c is horizontal shift, sin is that it starts in middle and goes up, a is the amplitude, and 2pi/b is the period.
