The creator is not alive. He's a spirit. And spirits are neither born nor die. He was not created, he just is. He is everything. He's the ground, the planets, the emptiness, and you. Yes, you are a piece of god. And the creator just made himself different, giving up parts of himself for you.
And everything cannot be created or destroyed, according to the laws of science. So, he didn't need to be created according to science. Actually, God created science for us to better understand his ways.

I think you are overlooking the premises of the argument from design, which entails that the designer was, in fact, designed. It basically says that anything that is really complex could not have arisen through chance, therefore a designer must have created all complex things. However, this means the designer is equally complex or more complex in order to be able to design such a thing. So if complex things need a designer, and the designer is necessarily complex...then the designer needs a designer, and the designer of the designer needs one, and so on. Also, appealing to the idea that energy can never be created or destroyed does away with the need for God. If energy was always here, why do we need to posit God as the creator of energy? Energy was here the whole time! If God is everything, isn't that just like saying God is "the universe"? And why would you call the universe God if we already have a suitable name for it that doesn't entail the thing can think and is moral and omnipotent?

Hello! My name is Steven, and I am a mentor. Yes, that does mean that I help other people. I have helped over 1000 people to date, and have helped some individuals for over 1/2 a year. The miracle of my life occurred 17 years ago. I say miracle only because 1/4 babies survive to be born.

In school, I get As and Bs. More Bs really. I play trombone, and was the section leader of the trombones at my school. This year, I am the captain of the entire brass section. I am an Eagle Scout, so I guess that says I'm persistant? You make the call. I am a 3 time varsity letter winner, looking for a 4th next winter. I also participate in the musical, where I am a Bass 2. :)
I am straight, and have never had a relationship beyond a friend. However, I have survived the bumps in the road, and can advise you if you wish it. Though, it's not my strength.
