My little sister is almost 13 (I'm 16) and is in the 7th grade. She got this boyfriend over the summer, some guy who's in her math class, and she really likes talking about him. I'm starting to worry about her. Is this age-appropriate? I'm homeschool because I'm blind, so I don't know about these things. (link)

Well, my friend, however you're reading this, I do commend you on your typing skills. Extremely well written grammar wise and spelling -- something most seeing people can't do. :) I am also homeschooled, but only because I am WAY too smart for the public schools in my area. Just kidding, but homeschoolers rock!
Enough of that.
No, I wouldn't say that it is inappropriate for your sister to be dating this boy, as long as he is not 8 years older than her.... if he is, then it is a bad thing! (Because he'd be 21, which is wayyy too old for a 13 year old! And he'd be really... well, really far behind in school.) Nah, I wouldn't say it's wrong. I'm sortof out of the loop at times because I'm homeschooled. I had no idea [for a while at least] that kids were having sex at 12 and 13. NO WAY MAN! That's not cool. If she's sexually involved with her boyfriend, then it's definitely not cool. Even when she's older, 13, 14, 15... it's still - in my opinion - too young to be sexually involved with a boy.
I was almost 14 when I "got" my first (and only) boyfriend. Part of my moral and religious beliefs is staying pure until marriage, though other people chose not to do so. Still, she's quite a bit young to be having sex.
It's a good thing that you're worried about your sister, you're a good brother. :)

no, she's not having sex or materbating or anything gross for a young girl. They don't go to each other's houses, which eliminates all opportunities to do bad things
