Okay, I finally convinced my mom to start letting me wear tampons. But we're going in the afternoon to get them. (And Im on my period) But my dad wanted me to go down on his bike (motorcycle) to a couple places that are hours away, even in another state, and I have to wear pads. Last time I had an overflow. I'm afraid of that happening again. We're going in the morning at like 11:00am. So what can I do to prevent this? Is there anything I can do? And for another question, what about the tampons? Will they hurt, what if I forget about them,or if I can't understand the directions? Please help. Sorry this is so long. But i'll rate high for good answers. Thanks a lot.

You should just tell your dad that your on your period and that you'll have to stop every few hours to change your pad or tampon. It may seem like something you wouldn't want him to know but he will understand. Also if you don't feel like telling him have your mom do it.
