My Golden Retriever named Katie is 13 going on 14, i havent gone through a pet dieing experince my question is there any way to prepare myself in case my dog dies anytime soon? Katie's my First Dog and i love her sooooooo Much i would hate it if she died this Year Month Week Day

Wow, that's old.. =O But what I suggest to do is to just give her extra extra loving and attention, and make possibly her last year a awseome one and just spend as much time as you can with her and look at the bright side of things.. she's 14! That's more than most dogs normally live.. so you got to have more time with her than most of owners get too =) It'll hurt alot, but slowly you'll get through it..and you kinda just have to face the facts. Sooner or later, they're gonna pass on.. I know it sucks to think about.. but you kinda just have to realize that it's gonna happen someday... I have my two first dogs.. and every year whenever they get older, that just makes me think of them dying quicker =(.. they're 7 and 8...=( but slowly I'll get through it.. and who knows? Maybe you'll get another dog that you can love just as much as you did Katie. Well I hope that Katie lives for a loooong time and that you can pass through it =) Hope I helped!!
