So it seems no one cares that its right to wait untill marrage to have sex (in the chrsitian religon) and now to me it seems seroiusly wrong, but later on it probubaly wont. I just wanted to know at what age do most people lose it? Since im in 7th now, and next year is supposibly the year everyone starts. Most likly the guy I marry wont be a virgin, right? 5's for anyone who is reasonable. (link)
I'm a 19 year old virgin, also a Christian girl. I made a decision at age 13 to save myself for marriage, a promise between me and God. I believe God intended sex to be between husband and wife, and that's the reason behind my decision.

Now, for me, it was easy through most of jr. high and high school. I didn't have a boyfriend. Sure, I had friends who did, and some of them might have been having sex, but for me it wasn't an issue. At age 18, I started dating my first boyfriend, and we've been together a year now. Now it's a little harder to stick to my promise. My boyfriend is also a virgin, and he agrees that sex shouldn't be rushed into, though he's not quite as committed to saving himself for marriage like I am. But sometimes we feel tempted to go further than we should, in the heat of the moment. But I made a promise to God, and I still believe it's right, so I'm sticking to it. Sure, it's not what most people do, but as a Christian, I know that sometimes I have to take the high road and not follow the crowd.

Sure, I might not marry a virgin someday, but that doesn't make my virginity any less important. I expect that the man I marry will love me for a lot more than my sexual history.

Don't ever let yourself feel pressured to have sex just because "everyone else is doing it." Having sex is a private decision between you and your partner.

Now, if you are a Christian, I encourage you to read up on the subject- there are passages in the Bible that talk about sex, and there are several books out there, one I reccommend is "He's Hot, She's Hot".
