I'd like to start a tradition with the theater that I'm in. Any good suggestions and ideas? (link)
Well, you could buy a charm or ornament, or find one in the prop room/scene shop that never gets used. A friend of mine recieved a silver music note ornament with a letter- the letter explaining that this ornament has been passed down, and it's hers until she graduates, then she's got to add her name to the list and pass it on to a new singer, someone she thinks deserves it. You could try something like this.

Or is there a prop that could be used in multiple shows? I'm thinking like a purse or a box or something. Something that could be put in the set of almost any show, that from season to season the cast and crew would know it's there, but wouldn't really affect the show.

I guess the last suggestion I have would be to start a theater scrapbook. Make copies of all your favorite pictures, ticket stubs, programs, etc., and ask your friends and fellow cast members to contribute, too.
