WILL RATE HIGH...i am lost...my best friend is going out with this guy that she knew liked and i told her it would be ok if she did go out with him (vice versa). he doesnt go to our school. i met him through my friend who knows him from outside activities. he liked her for a really long time, but she never liked him back, until now. this guy knew i liked him to but we both didnt know if would work out if we started dating. anyway, he asked my friend out and theyve been going out for a month now. i talk to him on the phone almost everyday and he confuses me.he's like leading me on, almost. he tells me he's gonna break up w/her for this and that reason, and i dont know how to respond. do i want them to stay together, and be a good friend, but i dont really know...i like him still...ive been out w/one guy since they've started going out and i broke up with him b/c i liked this guy...he says for me to wait for him...am i just wasting my time...waiting for something that will never be??? i really need help...WILL RATE HIGH. thnx!

Well, it is really wasting your time talking to him on the phone and whatever. Chances are he won't break up with her. If he liked you, why would he go out with her in the first place. Also, if you do go out, think about this... he is telling you that he wants to break up with her for this and that, don't you think he will do and say the same stuff about you when he talks to another girl. Most likely he will! Also, if he did like you, he wouldn't want you to "wait" for him. What are you waiting for anyways, he would've dumped her for you by now!
