I'm a song-writer, guitarist, and vocalist in a Christian band, and I want some help getting subject matter for some songs, we really need something new and I'm running out of any good ideas. Anybody got anything that would be worth singing about in a southern-rock/acoustic style of music?

You could sing about moral issues or things going on in the world today. Or you could do somthing like what Weird Al does and just make fun of other people's music. Another thing would be making songs from Bible verses. Or you could make songs about relationships...the only thing about that is everyone does it and it does get annoying after a while; just look at Relient K and Hawk Nelson.
