Hi! At this point, I'm just checking back when asked a question. When my life gets less hectic, I'll start browsing to find questions to answer. But please ask; I will answer within 24 hours.

I have a short story outline due on thursday and I am FRESH out of ideas! If anybody has ANY ideas whatsoever, please tell me! Even if you only have an idea for a scene, I can make something of it. Please just give me any ideas that come to your mind.
By the way, I like stories in which unusual things happen

5 random unusual things/occurrences:

* you wake up one morning and discover that you can see an additional *something* (x-ray vision, in the dark via heat like D&D elves, 5 min into the future, if someone is lying, etc)

* your outside walking through the woods and when you get to a creek you've seen a million times before, you discover that it's gotten larger, and more beautiful, and you would swear that something large and white was moving in the brush, but when you investigate, all you see is odd prints.

* you're about to have your 10th birthday, and you've lived your whole life on a space ship taking a colony of people to a brand new planet. It turns out that the day your supposed to land the ship on the new planet is your birthday.

* tell the story of your day from the point of view of your shoes. or maybe their magical shoes that give you some special power.

* your a nasa scientist and you've just discovered a transmission from an alien life form
