Okay my problem is that my mom wont give one of my best friends a chance!!! My mom thinks just because Nicole** (**name has been changed) is just a lil different than my other friends that I cant hang with her! Ive asked many times to go out with Nicole but my mom continues to say no because "theres just something about her..out of all the people who call you, shes the rudest" hellloooo she (my mom) dont even answer the phone most of the time! I DO! Ugggghhh! is there ANY way to convince my mom that my friend isnt all trouble, even though she may be?

I went through the same thing with my mom. Everybody needs a friend who gets into trouble sometimes otherwise life would be boring. I have a couple friends that get in trouble a lot but they're so fun! If you hang around her just be sure to not go too far or get into too much trouble. Your mom is being protective of you. My mom was the same way. She didnt' want me hanging around a lot of my friends for different reasons of hers. Just tell her that your friend really isn't as bad as shes making her out to be. Say that she's really sweet and blah blah blah. Tell her that you wouldn't hang out with anybody who was all trouble and you're capable of making decisions on who your friends should be by yourself.
