Hey I'm a Junior at Union High.I'm doing Volleyball, Cheerleading, &&Softball. Which is awesome. I'm athletic, helpful, funny, outgoing...anything really! I love helping others...i guess its a gift in some ways...=) Helping others with issues....is rewarding because they're happy. How many people are on a typical volleyball team? And what are the names of the positions, and describe what each postition does.
Hey! Volleyball is a great sport!!!!*lol* Well it depends on wut formation ur in, so in middle school u'll prolly have a 2-6 or 6-2 which is da normal formation, two setters N two hitters, da setters is usually in da front right! Therre's two setters who set the balls for hitters to spike! N therre's passers in da back who passes or sets to the setters! But they usually pass! it's better! Therre's 12 ppl on a court, u kno in all! but therre's six on each side! u have your left hitter, middle hitter, setters, right back, left back, middle back! the setters are alwayz across from eachotha, if not then they are out of formation! but if u play AAU, which i do, we play 4-6 N stuff like dat! which is harder, cuz da formation is totally differ!Well da postions really are differ! But the main goal is to try to set the ball up for a kill, i hope u kno wut a kill is. if not then a kill is when the hitter attacks da ball N spikes it to the otha side, when no one could touch the ball, N dat makes da ball dead, dat would be a kill! then therre's da server! u have three type of serves! Under-hand, over-hand, N the powerserve, usually used in high school or college or beach volleyball! the underhand is really good for begginners, but it's very accurate, but it doesn't have a lot of power! the over hand has a lot of power! but it's hard on trying to put da bal @ a certain spot! but only if ur dat good then u can!
